If the FA were going to ban him, they should have done so last season, like they did with Suarez. What's the use of waiting for his 'not guilty' verdict and then banning him? Well let them report. If there had been anything worthy of a ban, you'd have got one already. And don't be so sure about people not knowing who you are, most of the regular users will know. If you act properly, there will be no reason to report you, and if somebody still does out of spite, it won't persuade the admins to ban you for doing nothing. If you didn't get suspended with the old Sloth, there is no chance the new Sloth will. But if you absolutely want to change it for whatever reason, then okay. But as I understand, BlueLion already vetoed that idea.

How are you close to a ban? If you behave, you aren't close to anything. A name change won't help you.. if you do something ban-worthy, it won't matter if you're Sloth or Essien.

It's the easy way out. If you keep your old name, you will actually have something to prove, to work in order to clear your name, like an extra motivation or whatever. And it's not like your old persona was totally hated also, most understood that you were just being funny, but eventually it started rubbing some people the wrong way - there is no use cooking the same meat over and over again, eventually it will get burnt. If you start proving yourself and be more serious, then nobody will care about your name. And something like "Essien" would be so bad, so dry... I don't know, but I don't like nicknames with player names or whatever, I like something unique.. And your name is a cool animal, I like it, you make me feel like I'm not the only beast around
