Dont see why some people are criticizing Drogba anyway, he may of not played to the best of his abilities but he scored didn't he? I ain't no expert but he is a striker and I believe that is what he is on the pitch to do... score.
-
Hamsik is a good player right enough but the fact is hes not "amazing" as some people think he is, anyway he signed a new contract so I doubt we'll see him in Chelsea colors anytime soon..
-
Kalou hasn't really progressed because he was a striker at Feyenoord, he has been shifted to the wing to allow the bigger names in the squad to play. He still has a lot to offer I'd say, great goal poacher and as stated previously he always contributes when he comes on as a sub. Would be a shame to see him leave for free when he still has plenty to offer at Chelsea. He has been seen as a scapegoat when things aren't going right sometimes but I think if he is given a run in the team upfront he will do a hell of a lot more than Mr 50 million.

Lille can get stuffed if they are wanting 35 million or more for Hazard, especially with young Muinian probably available for 15 million euros if Bilbao would sell him. Absolute gem, potential to be better than Pedro, Villa, Jesus Navas and a few other Spanish wingers. If we signed him I would be absolutely delighted, been following him since last season, destined for big, big things. He has incredible technique, pace, work rate and as shown tonight he is up for a bit of physical competition as well. Whoever signs this boy in future, Chelsea or another club, will definitely have a special player on their hands

Coles apparently injured so expect Bertrand to play. Hopefully Di Matteo puts out a team that are wanting to get stuck in, the 4-1-2-1-2 diamond formation would be a good idea to try with Lukaku and Drogba upfront maybe? or Sturridge and Lukaku/Drogba. Game against Stoke seems like the right sort of one for Lukaku, big strong physical player, hopefully battle the center backs if he plays but if Drogba plays I'd expect him to battle as well as he didn't play too bad against West Brom and won the majority of aerial duels if we shall call them that haha. Preferably see Cahill and Luiz starting again at center back tbh, partnership is improving with the more games they get together. Would like to see Romeu in the midfield guarding the defense with Essien Lampard and then Mata at the tip of the diamond. See us turning Stoke over 2 or 3-0 tbh, not going to be a nice match for the eyes though can tell already its going to be fill of rough challenges in the midfield and a whole lot of long balls and crosses. Hopefully we win, then Arsenal cock up against Newcastle who on their day aren't too bad !

He has revamped the whole Germany team basically since he took over, also a great tactician who was apparently behind the EURO 2008 success as well despite being assistant manager (even though they finished 2nd). Plus he has some balls, he told Ballack that he wouldn't be getting his 100th cap and dumped him out of the Germany team basically and is not afraid of using youth as previously shown through playing Gotze, Ozil, Muller etc ahead of experienced heads. If he was appointed Chelsea manager I would be more than happy, maybe he would be able to lure a few German gems to the club!

As long as we don't loose we wont loose another manager at least... for now.
-
Jose or re-appoint AVB, rest can fuck off.

Chelsea Sack Andre Villas-Boas
OneMoSalah replied to Fulham Broadway's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
I hope Andre is appointed at Inter Milan next season, then we make the top 4 and compete against them in the Champions league and if the old guard are still in the squad putting themselves ahead of the club, we get beat showing the CFC board what an awful mistake it was sacking AVB. Infact never mind AVB, even if Ancelotti did it... -
Chelsea Sack Andre Villas-Boas

Rafa isnt even stupid enough to try and take on the Chelsea job with this current squad. -
We need to win, and to get our season back on track, maybe chanting AVB and Carlo's name will make the board realize what a bunch of mistakes they have made in the Abramovic era. Maybe Di Matteo could steady the ship, don't feel hes the right man tho. Still absolutely gutted about AVB, if he had the backing from everyone at the club he would of been fine. Makes me wonder will Chelsea ever appoint any big name managers/ talented up and coming managers again without them knowing they could be sacked half a season in

Chelsea Sack Andre Villas-Boas
OneMoSalah replied to Fulham Broadway's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Oh yeah so he did. Still a terrible decision by the board, he won promotion with West Brom from the championship, while AVB won the quadruple with Porto.. major difference. Still cannot believe that the players seem to have pushed the manager out of the door.... again. -

Hope you prove everyone wrong and show them that you are going to be one of the best managers on the planet in a few years. Genuinely disappointed that you've been sacked and been criticized when it should of been the players but you deserve so much better than this so go prove every board member at Chelsea FC wrong! -
A new fucking owner please.

Chelsea Sack Andre Villas-Boas

Seen this on Sky Sports earlier and was absolutely shel lshocked, not just that AVB had been sacked but that we had appointed Di Matteo who has had two shit managerial spells at West Brom and some other team. Does the board know what they are up to anymore? Sacking multiple talented managers who go on and prove why they shouldn't have been sacked. Infact Mr Abramovic, I dont care that your billions helped Chelsea to where they are today, you can fuck off. -
Is it any wonder he isn't being used as the front man in the attacking three? Cannot score the easy chances.
-
You know what, fuck it pay the 85 million, he would of scored them two chances Danny had today easily.
-
Funny how he says when hes sitting on the bench he wants to see Chelsea winning, well when hes on the fucking pitch hes not trying to help Chelsea win either... well not today anyway absolutely dreadful

Hulk said in the Daily Mirror: "We never know what is going to happen tomorrow. "I have four-and-a-half years left on my Porto contract but, as I have always said, if some day something good for me and for the club appears, I think there will not be any problem and a deal will be reached. "As long as it is amicable and good for everyone, I believe it will be concluded without any problem. If I do not leave, then that is fine." http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/7406121/Hulk-open-to-move Ok he didn't say for under the release clause but I'm guessing thats what hes hinting at...
-
Personally I would think if we got Hulk and Soldado, there would be no need for Hazard!
-
IN Robert Soldado Hulk Joao Moutinho Christian Eriksen Kyle Walker Out Fernando Torres Michael Essien Jose Bosingwa Paulo Ferreria

Don't see how some of yous can say Romeu is overrated, earlier this season he was our best midfielder. He used the ball well every time he received it, he also distributed it well to the attacking players and broke up many opposition attacks. The fact he had only played for Barcalona B before, he has made brilliant progress in my opinion but I'm sure he knows that he was going to play when Essien was injured more than anything, just hope AVB drops Meireles and gives him another run in the team. I think next year he will be playing much more regularly as AVB will start to reshape the team to his liking and Romeu is perfect for his philosophy.
-
Apparently he said he will move on for lower than release clause if the deal is good for all parties, so maybe we could get him for like a quarter of his release clause. The Porto president plays a lot of mind games I think, probably saying the release clause is 85 million to get well more than what it actually is. Porto won't want to loose Hulk obviously but look what happened with Falcao last summer, they said he will be staying, then he went for lower than his release clause, so it is possible we could get him in the summer.

First choice lineup for the rest of the season
OneMoSalah replied to Tomo's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
I would only change three things in that line up ! 1 No Torres, Sturridge upfront. 2 Ramires on the right wing. 3 Romeu defensive midfield with McEachran! -
First choice lineup for the rest of the season
OneMoSalah replied to Tomo's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
A team full of Matas and Ramires would be awesome but since we live in the real world probably have to be... Cech Ivanovic Cahill Luiz Bertrand Romeu Essien Lampard Ramires Sturridge Mata
