A whole lot of teams have been rumored to watch Ramirez, including us, Liverpool, Manchester United, Real, Barca and Napoli. Personally I really think we could benefit from signing him in the summer as he is only 21, a playmaker (who can play on the wings also), something we have been crying out for the whole season and will be quite cheap compared to some players we're linked with. Apparently his buyout clause is rumored to be between 12-22 million euros so hes not exactly out of price range either, so if we appoint a manager its not like we're going to have to pay over the odds. David Luiz is too passionate about Chelsea to go to Barca. Anyway can't Barca just produce another wonder kid rather steal our players... not as if they need anymore good players anyway look at their team Xavi, Iniesta, Messi, Fabergas, Sanchez, Villa, Thiago, Valdes, Pedro.. think that speaks for itself

Agree with the posts up there, if Andre didn't give him as many chances as he did, would he even be at the club still? Still Andre's attacking philosophy probably favored FT as well as more chances were being created in the first few months of the season than what where being created the last half a season before when Ancelotti was manager. Torres just failed to capitalize on the chances that were put his way and when he started scoring and playing with confidence he got sent off, for a foolish tackle so it was defos FT's fault rather than AVBs, just now that people see Andre as a flop they prefer to blame him rather than the actual player.

Remember the start of the season when Raul was playing good? When he played that absolute peach of a pass for Sturridge to score against Sunderland? When he actually tackled a lot and didn't pick up a lot of bookings? What happened

I was very impressed when he came on against Scotland at the Emirates for his Brazilian national team debut, even though he only got 20-25 minutes. I've seen clips of him on youtube as well, looks an out and out goalscorer, who can score with both feet and his head and also has great movement. If we were interested we'd have to move quick as Spurs have apparently got a feeder club deal with Internacional, which is how they got Sandro and Juventus, Barca and Inter have been credited with interest. Here is a video or two.. Plus this, great skill!

Wouldn't mind if we got Cavani but the problem with our strikers are their not getting enough chances so a winger/playmaker should be the first thing on whoever takes over in the summers list.. plus someone mentioned Rossi from Villarreal in an earlier post who imo is probably better.

Tonight felt like winning the CL, what a performance by everyone. Di Matteo nailed his tactics as well was absolutely unreal..... still cannot believe it to be honest. Gobsmacked.

Torres put a great shift in when he came on, should of scored but he was a completely different player tonight than what he has been recently. He looked to beat men whenever he could, tracked back, defended well from set pieces. Can only be proud of his performance tonight!!

He is good and I would like him at Chelsea but could he adapt to the PL? plus he has one of those 160 million buyout clauses and I wouldn't be sure if he'd move ... well maybe he would move because Alexis Sanchez, David Villa (currently injured), Isaac Cuenca, Christian Tello and Gerard Deulofeu (playing for Barca B, only has like 2 sub appearances for Barca first team but hes bound to play next year supposing hes an amazing talent) will be options for Guardiola, realistically. Maybe he might move if Deulofeu, Tello and Cuenca are to be played more often than they are but we have to wait and see.

We should give him a run of continuous games first and then decide whether he needs to be loaned or could be a impact player. Can't exactly take evidence from a 20 minute appearance against Norwich and a dreadful tackle against Liverpool (which was quality but still).

If we need to keep the ball why doesn't Di Matteo go for a 4-2-3-1 with Romeu and Mikel as CDM even though I expect a 4-3-3 with Lampard and Ramires involved.
