  1. I think if we need to get rid of any midfield player it should be Essien, he is not the player we used to know. Plus we could keep Raul then when his deals done get rid, I think he has to be kept if we are to compete in multiple competitions like the FA cup, CL(maybe not next season), League Cup, just for rotation and use him to rest some players also.
  2. Tbh Josh needs to play regularly and no matter who the manager is at Chelsea he won't be doing that until hes about 21 or 22 (if he develops well). Josh hasn't got PL experience yet unlike Raul which is why I think he is a very valuable squad player and right now Raul can offer more than Josh in terms of ability.
  3. If I was to go for a name and number on the back of it I don't know who I'd get Mata, Ramires or Meireles are the obvious choices for me tbh!
  4. Out: Didier Drogba Michael Essien Paulo Ferreira Jose Bosingwa Florent Malouda Turn into squad players rather than constant starters: Frank Lampard John Terry Yossi Benayoun Salomon Kalou Squad with additions/on loan players returned: GK - Petr Cech, Ross Turnbull, Henrique Hilario, RB - Branislav Ivanovic, Gregory van der Wiel, CB - David Luiz, Gary Cahill, Jeffrey Bruma, John Terry, Sam Hutchinson LB - Ryan Bertrand, Ashley Cole. DM - Cheik Tiote, Oriol Romeu, John Obi Mikel, CM - Ramires, Frank Lampard, Raul Meireles, AM - Juan Mata, Moussa Dembele, Yossi Benayoun. RW - Junior Hoilett, Gael Kakuta, Lucas Piazon, LW - Ezequiel Lavezzi, Kevin De Bruyne, Salomon Kalou. ST - Fernando Torres, Daniel Sturridge, Romelu Lukaku. Gregory Van der Wiel £8-11 million - Contract is running down at Ajax, improvement on Bosingwa and Ferreira, played in CL with Ajax. Chiek Tiote £15-20 million - Good proven PL player plus Newcastle sell their best players to create funds for investment. Moussa Dembele £8.5-10.5 million - Also PL proven, cheap alternative for a creative player, also versatile can play on wings, would have Belgian team mates at CFC in KDB, Lukaku and Courtious. Junior Hoilett in on a free - Great up and coming player, would hopefully improve our play with his directness and pace AND available on a free transfer in the summer, would be mad not to. Ezequiel Lavezzi £20-26.5 million - Great player, pacey, direct, one of the major reasons why Napoli have emerged in the last 2 or 3 years. Only problem is his release clause is probably the price he would go for, which is £26.5 million. List is quite realistic actually compared to some of the ones I have seen.
  5. Goalkeeper kit looks gay..... if it was fluorescent with black stripes it would be awesome. Still think the one with red and white would be better but the gold one is not bad at all
  6. Personally, half the goalkeepers in La Liga should save half or Ronaldo's goals but they don't... plus everyone can improve no one is perfect, at least he is playing...
  7. Apparently Wenger has been scouting him for 2 seasons, so he will probably move to Arsenal...
  8. what you mean.. he is only 20 haha
  9. Hope he gets a game against Barca, then we shall truly see if he is capable of replacing Ashley against high opposition..
  10. No no no, I mean by the fact that the players in Serie A usually move to other clubs in Serie A rather than move to England.. like Nesta from Lazio to MIlan, Pirlo from Milan to Juventus, Ibra (a few years ago) from Juventus to Inter.... happens in Bundesliga as well a lot...
  11. Serie A is worse than the Bundesliga, hes staying in Italy guys.
  12. I think that Kevin De Bruyne shouldn't of been loaned, if your 20 years old and playing for Chelsea.... you should be capable of bringing something to the squad.
  13. Jesus one bad game and yous bitch about Kalou and Mikel but a few weeks ago they were our best players in certain games. Make your fucking minds up....
  14. Someone got a clip of Ben Arfa's goal?
  15. Oh, right.. thank god eh? I think Dempsey would totally destroy Bosingwa even with Ramires trying to chip in and help him out defensively.
  16. Either give RDM the job or step up the chase and get the Dortmund manager. Seems a right enough character and he said said it is "cool" to be named along side Guardiola and Mourinho as potential bosses for us. Maybe a German coach would be excellent for us.. either the Dortmund manager or Joachim Low, imagine the talent Low could potentially attract: Gotze, Ozil, Hummels, Muller, Gomez, Draxler etc.
  17. So he will probably be playing today if Branna gets banned so.... as long as players don't pass it to him or Fulham players don't run at him we are ok.
  18. David Luiz has probably been the better out of all our defenders since the start of the year... and yet he is criticized over one incident in one game, where ok it was against his former club... he tried a trick, maybe so but apart from that he didn't put a foot wrong did he? No he didn't. So this "so called journalist" should get his facts right and start watching Luiz play for the full game rather than 10 seconds...
  19. Remember the two dodgy penalties United got at the Bridge in the 3-3 game and then the two awful non-existent offside decisions that should of been for Smalling's header and when Nani first touched the ball at Old Trafford before scoring in the 3-1 game? Then remember when Bosingwa got sent off for having his shirt pulled at QPR as well? Referees being bias to us.... really do some journalists and opposing teams fans think this...? Put this in perspective, the United penalty yesterday was fucking pathetic too AND they weren't ridiculed for it by the media, plus Andy Carrolls dive.. media briefly mentioned it but mentioned Carroll's reaction when subbed later more but still when we get 2 offside goals they want to gurn their arses off.. totally sick of it. Anyway all Spurs and Liverpool fans can shut the fuck up supposing they are just cup teams! Lol Really good article by the way!
  20. Hutchinson is like 23 and like Essien has just returned to football from a very bad lengthy injury so he probably won't even be as good as he was before plus he hasn't even played for the first team since signing that new contract so I fear he will be a squad player who is very rarely used. Hopefully he can prove me wrong but I don't think he will be as good as before and isn't he normally a center back? Plus you mentioned Todd Kane who is looking decent but he needs another season or two at least with the reserves or on loan at a PL/championship club before getting a look in I think. You also mentioned Richard's tactical awareness but in all fairness I think he has been City's most consistent performer except Joe Hart, he is a machine, built like a center back, who has got loads of pace like a full back and he can play in both full back and center back positions so he is also versatile. Maybe he was out of his depth in the CL but aren't most players who haven't played in it before? Gary Cahill was very very shaky against Napoli for example.
  21. I hope David Luiz reminds Messi of these comments with a swift kick in the nuts. Lool
  22. Personally him and Romeu should be the two holding players imo, he may not of justified himself much but he has done more than Essien recently and there isn't a chance we will see Essien back to his best at this rate...
  23. Perhaps Bertrand might feature today, against Spurs and against Barca then... hope so, deserves a good shot for the remaining games and next year.
  24. Wait do we have Barcelona first leg after or before the FA cup game against Spurs?
