  1. Loan him to Wigan next season, Martinez knows how to coach younger guys well and get them playing well and ready for bigger clubs in terms of progression in ability. Cleverly and Moses are examples. I'm sure Angelo Henriquez will go back to Utd better, McCarthy and McCarthur have also progressed since going there. If they are willing, which I think they would be tbh because they have 3 CMs that I can think of. David Jones, James McCarthy and James McCarthur. Oh and Ben Watson forgot him. Point is Wigan try and get the ball down, Josh could do with a step up from the Championship next year as hes done quite well tbh, perfect match as Josh is a player who is excellent in possession.
  2. Just putting this out there, Karl Pilkington is god. Only just started watching An Idiot Abroad (even though it was first out in 2009 or something), Karl is such a moron its hilarious.
  3. Tbh with the Europa League we could of used Flo. Hes not as good as he once was as hes on the wrong side of 30 but still, would have been decent to use as an AM rotation option rather than Benaybellend
  4. Cant remember the last time Schweinsteiger or Lahm delivered in the grandest of stages (most notably the CL finals against us and Inter, WC2010 semi final or the Euros vs Italy) so surely their inclusion is a bit daft. Lahm and Schweinsteiger have been bollocks in the big games that meant something. Especially Schweinsteiger who is overrated, remember that season Dortmund won the double he was absolutely shocking in the bigger games and Sahin was the best central MF player in Germany that year. Could say the same about Lahm, last time I remember Lahm performing really well was the WC in Germany 2006. If your putting Falcao in that list too surely Mata must be in it? Falcao has scored goals very well for the last 2 or 3 seasons as has Mata performed very well creating a lot of goals for the last 2 or 3 seasons. Falcao has carried Atleti for the last 2 seasons as Mata has basically carried us using his genuis to fashion chances out of nowhere for players. Apart from Schweinsteiger and Lahm plus the inclusion of Mata I agree with your list though. Maybe forgot Cech too, has been one of the standout GKs in Europe since he arrived at Chelsea and Busquets at Barca who is undoubtebly the best holding MF around these days.
  5. Marin these days or am I the only one who groans when hes in the team? Also Torres and that wanker who shall not be named who wouldn't leave due to his high salary (yall know who I mean)
  6. Exactly. We paid 50 million for a man who was lightening quick and always on the shoulder of the last CB to get chances but he doesn't even do that anymore....... he also scored a fair amount of headers too but he doesn't even bother not even joking I reckon I'd do a better job upfront and I'm terrible
  7. Sack Rafa, Torres as manager, save us playing the cunt upfront. Marin can be his no.2 both fucking shit, 25 minutes of playing reasonable in a team thats playing shit means nothing. Would rather lose playing attractive football than win playing this utter bullshit under Rafa, thats how bad we were, ok not really but we need to play fucking better jesus christ.
  8. Why don't we just offer 30 million and Torres, surely they will accept 30,000,500 no?
  9. Read more: http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-news/football/premier-league/transfer-rumours/130212/sampdoria-star-snub-man-city-inter-milan-191481#ixzz2Kk2IkMPr Gutted if true, he scored a goal vs Roma the other night bringing his tally upto 8 for the season. For a 19 year old in a below average team in Serie A hes done fairly well. Surely Strama has promised him games at Inter or he won't go though? Maybe he'll get loaned back or whatever.
  10. Mourinho would be perfect in a way because hes a winner and some of these players we have with less experience and a frailer mentalility could do with a kick up the arse but yet again as soon as hes won everything he will probably fuck off like he did at Inter which doesn't make him perfect.
  11. Don't want to sound like a bellend but its Gazza's fault hes in this state. Sure hes getting all the help he can but he already had this problem years ago, if he survives he should take a long and hard look at himself. The previous battle with alcohololish, the Rauol Moat thing and now this again surely people must be wondering what is actually going on with him? Surely he should have realised before that drinking put him in a bad state but no he does it again. Obviously you feel for his family but I'm with Joey Barton on this one, I think people who are getting involved that aren't family or really really close friends are trying to boost their image.
  12. stole my joke :( well anyway here it is Now that Pope Benedict has stepped down from his Devine position in the Catholic order, bookies have tipped him 2/1 as the next Chelsea manager
  13. Roman wants rid of the older players to get the average age of the squad down. Hence why Alex, Anelka, Drogba, possibly Lampard, Ballack, Cole etc were let go.
  14. oooooooooooooooooooooooooooh whenever I've seen Son play hes actually looked good, prefer him uptop to Floppes
  15. Rmpr..... Rafa says Anyway must win. Recall Malouda, start Marin and give Mata an hour supposing he didn't start vs Wigan. Torres upfront or Feruz if Rafas bold enough which I doubt.
  16. Take this with a pinch of salt as it is the mirror reporting it but they posted an article saying we still want Willian and if we fail to sign him we are in pole position for Heung-Min Son, 20 year old striker who plays for Hamburg. Hes scored 9 goals in 20 apperances this year, a full international and can play on the wings as well as upfront. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/chelsea-havent-given-up-hope-1647769 Bottom of the report
  17. Didn't really class him as talented when he was first signed but I watched him in the AFCON and he was immense. Good CB with great positioning, decision making and tackling. Very composed when hes distributing the ball out from the back. Seems likely that he could go on loan to a PL club next year, looks ready for it physically and after such performances in the AFCON I wouldn't be surprised.
  18. Have any of yous ever been on that FourFourTwo performance/fitness section, should check it out if your looking for football related fitness exercises and weight training exercises http://performance.fourfourtwo.com/fitness
  19. Last time I did that, the back of my hair was squinter than Bosingwas kicking. Anyway why are yous on about Pokemon, Digimon and Yu-gi-oh was where it was all at............ and beyblades oooooooft remember them
  20. We don't need a quality winger because imo Moses and KDB make good options out wide. Also Hazard on the left is right now his best position tbh due to his sheer pace. We need to find someone who can play Matas role when hes not in the team to the same effect. Oscar hasn't shown that at all, hes a slightly different kind of player. He keeps the game going, dropping deep to get the ball and passing it on rather than taking the ball and looking for that killer pass like Mata does so often. Isco is much more similar to Mata in my eyes.
  21. Signing Isco wouldn't be a waste, he'd be a direct substition for Mata who is knackered from playing 90 mins nearly every game, sometimes 180 minutes a week. Marin is no where near good enough to be a rotation option for Mata. Hence why we apparently got first dibs on Isco... we are so short on MF players Benayoun is getting minutes... if we start with say Moses - Mata - Hazard as the three and sign Isco we'll have Isco who is a AM, Oscar who can play both CM/AM and KDB who can play CM,AM,RM,LM as sub options. Means we might actually stop playing Bertrand as a left winger too with such options.
  22. I actually seen Giroud at Montpellier (season when they won the league and he scored 30 goals or whatever it was) and thought he was a good striker tbh, could have been useful upfront for us as hes a decent finisher, makes good runs and is really good at holding the ball up. Podolski is also a good player too, this reflects in his international record with Germany and hes only 27-28. Over 100 caps and at least 40 goals. Hes better with the NT than club but still he could have been good for United tbh different sort of winger to what they have. Don't like AOC though, even though hes apparently a Chelsea fan, extremely overrated. Got a Euros place after 16 games last season somehow.... despite having 2 stand out games or something....
  23. Thats not true. Giroud rejected us to go there. Oxlade-Chamberlain rejected United, Liverpool, City and ourselves to go there. Podolski rejected Manchester United and Anzhi to go there. Jovetic will go where he will get the most playing time and since Arsenal are short on strikers (as are we) he will see a big opportunity to get games regularly.
