Sky Italia are reporting that Barcelona and Santos have reached an agreement for the transfer of Neymar for €92 million. WOW. Not that Neymars a bad player, hes obviously very talented but 92 million is an absolute farce. Edit: In fact doesn't Neymar not have a 45 million release clause or he did back in 2011 when we along with 4 other clubs activated it. I can't remember hearing about him signing a new deal after it either tbh so is it bullshit or what? Or did he sign a new deal?

I think if he was back on tv he wouldn't be allowed half his material to be televised which would suck. Thats what happened with mock the week, they struggled to put most of his stuff on

Just found a clip of Frankie Boyles Comic relief show thing hahahah jesus it is absolutely hilarious. Not as many sick jokes as usual but its still funny and contains some dark humor so don't watch if your a bit sensative.

Ba is only 27 or 28, thats someone in their prime, not an old player. The injury prone thing is also overstated, he hasn't had a lengthy injury in the PL yet. There was a stat flying about that he hadn't missed a game in like 6 years due to injury before he signed for us. Also on Feruz. Physically Feruz is actually probably one of the players more ready for senior football games be it Championship or PL. He is actually better physically than what you'd think for being 17 and 5 ft 7 or whatever he is. Hes nowhere near as big as Lukaku but hes not a frail boy like Josh. Hes been compared to a younger Wayne Rooney because hes a strong, powerful and dynamic player. Hes probably the best prospect we have after Nate, in fact I don't know whos the better prospect out of Chalobah or Feruz (may be a biased opinion because Feruz is an adopted Scot haha). But honestly, Feruz was playing with Scotland 17s by the time he was 13 or 14 I read, he played in a testomonial game for the late Tommy Burns in 2008 or 2009 when he was 15 or something. If he was still at Celtic he'd be a first team player, no doubt, Lennon was absolutely gutted to lose him. I know its only the SPL but if it were allowed he probably would have been a first team player at 15. I'm going out on a limb and saying he will be a full time Scottish international by the time hes 19 or 20. Hes more the capable. -
Would be an interesting appointment. Maybe he'd need an older head like Hiddink as director of football to help him out but I actually think he'd be very successful here tbh. Hes Chelsea through and through but if he got sacked we'd have all this mad shit where the fans hate whoever comes in after without giving them a chance bullshit again. Hes certainely a better manager than what Robbie is tbh but the difference is one Champions League and one Fa cup on Robbie's CV compared to fuck all on Steve's ! He'd certainely bring back that feel good factor, look at how well Albion have done under him but I suppose there are also other guys who deserve credit like the guy whos in charge of recruitment. Since he arrived, hes been very successful and astute in arranging deals for the likes of Claudio Yacob, Ben Foster, Lukaku even though its only a loan deal, Shane Long etc. Can't even remember his name though.... lmao.

Heard a rumor going about that we are interested in M'baye Niang. Don't see it happening, he only just moved to Milan and IIRC has signed 2 contract extensions already which shows incredible commitment tbh.

Sky Sports are reporting that Fernando Torres has tested positive for using performance reducing substances.

Just my opinion on a few of our younger players who are on loan and who could be/wont be part of a future Chelsea team: Courtois is more than ready to start. Josh needs a season or two in the Championship before 2 seasons of regular PL football before being ready realistically. Lukaku needs another year of regular football but could probably do a job. Chalobah is probably the same as Josh another year in the Championship or a few seasons of PL football if Watford get promoted. Piazon, unsure, looked out of place in the FA cup game vs United. Probably a season or two of regular top level football in any country would do him good. Kalas, is he ready? Not watched much of him but I've heard very promising reports about him. Maybe use him as a backup RB with Ivan used as a CB or a PL loan depending on who comes in as coach. De Bruyne, more than ready and capable just where to play him? Wide left, wide right, attacking midfield? Box to Box MF role? Depends on the coach next year and his preffered formation. Feruz, keep him with the u21s then maybe a loan deal in the Championship depending on his progression next season. Omeruo, really impressed with him at ACON, apparently his agent said we were considering taking him back next season, unsure if hes ready or not but based on his ACON performances he could maybe get a loan at a mid table PL club. Kakuta, he can just fuck off tbh, wasted talent, shit attitude. Ake looked solid vs Middlesbrough, should get a loan in the Championship, then another year then maybe a year in the PL after. Sam, hate to say it his career looks like it has been over for a few years. Bruma, probably be sold at the end of the season to Hamburg. Doesn't look like hes going to be a top center half anyway. PVA, don't know, probably be sold, hasn't really settled as well at a club as well since his Newcastle loan. Davila, never had hope for him at all really, unsure how hes doing, don't think he'll get much of a chance with our current attacking options. Thorgan, really surprised me, actually see him getting a chance in our team in 3 or 4 years tbh. Depends on picking good loans though but still promising. Wallace, unsure, not seen much, could be good, could be bad. We'll see though. Will he be loaned out in Brazil next year? Probably not, with the likes of Napoli, Juve, Roma all wanting him last year maybe we should look to loan him out in Italy next year. The other English lads, George, Patrick, Billy, Sam etc don't see much of a chance for them sadly due to the players we have in their positions. Lalkovic, had hoped that he'd have had better chances on loan but it hasn't worked for him too well. Still young, probably get him a league 1 or championship loan next season see where he goes from their. -
stranngely enough, I also have some Uncle Bens microwave rice on my plate..... twins?

I didn't mean the teams performances, I meant Lamps' individual performance. He impressed me a while ago when he had scored like 10 goals in 13 games or whatever. Was doing decent enough in the pivot, hes slumped, as the team has but hes been one of our worst players.
-
When he starts performing to a suitable standard thats required at Chelsea FC everyone will stop criticizing and blaming him.

I actually think we won't play as bad as we did tonight. We probably will change things. Luiz back in MF alongside Mikel hopefully and Cahill back in at CB alongside Branna or JT. Hopefully put Ba upfront too and use Oscar/Mata centrally with Moses and Hazard out wide. I actually think we can beat United, if we play well and it depends if they go full out or rest a few players, like playing Buttner instead of Evra, Smalling instead of Ferdinand or Vidic etc, if they were to rest a few players we'd have a better chance but still need to up the performance. Would prefer to see Oscar starting and Mata on the bench tbh, Oscar got really close to Ba vs West Brom and I reckon he'd do the same. His defensive skills and work rate would be useful against Carrick. --------------Cech--------------- ------------------------------------ Dave-Cahill-JT/Branna-Cole ------------------------------------ -----------Luiz-Mikel------------ ------------------------------------ Moses-Mata/Oscar-Hazard ------------------------------------ ---------------Ba-----------------

Dortmund will have a lot of money made from their CL campaign and ultimately the amount of revenue they have made the last few years if you think about it. He'd be a great signing for them though.
-
Bit harsh on Kezza but you made a good point, Steaua have a good history in European football. Played better than us tonight and the result you guys got was well deserved.
-
I know that, its just a shame though because a player of his ability could decide a match, still can (example vs Everton) there was nothing there tonight though and when we are struggling the younger players probably tend to look to the likes of Cech, Lamps, Luiz, Mikel, Torres, well more or less the players who are more experienced for some sort of inspiration and its just not happening.

Weren't you not ElNinoProdz a few months back? What with the sudden change of heart?

I said nobody played well after. Please don't cry. I personally expected more from the senior players, well in fact I expected much more from every player but a for an experienced player like Lamps, thats fighting for a new contract he didn't really show fight or passion did he? Nobody did but you'd expect such players to try and be a driving force and push us on wouldn't you?
-
Lampard can go suck an egg if hes wanting a 2 year contract after a performance like that. In fact can't even remember the last time he played good. Anyway no fight, no effort, nothing, so we lost, which is fair enough. Still shocking. Nobody played well.

Fuck off. This guy is absolute shite, would rather play Rafa upfront.

As well as Modric played last night, as Strike pointed out he isn't actually the greatest defensively. He may try and hassle his opponent to win the ball but hes not actually that good at 'winning' it. Its one thing to hassle an opponent and another thing to win it back. We need an Alonso like player to play next to Mikel. Great at dictating the tempo and good at winning the ball as well. I'd actually quite like Marco Verratti or Joao Moutinho, both are good at winning the ball and dictating play, spreading play etc like Alonso. Modric is certainly able to create but hes not as good as Alonso defensively which is why Jose starts him as a number 10 rather than as a number 6 imo.

If he was as confident as I am when playing badminton, he'd be even worse. I am by far the worst badminton player this world has ever seen but lets be honest, at least my knees still work fully though Nando Hes beyond repair though, that sprinter guy should work with him for a bit tbh see if he can get his pace back as Roman won't cut him loose yet.... he should also get some sort of mental fitness coach because his confidence before big games, in fact in any games, clearly doesn't exist.

Not really a recent buy but I bought the Champions of Europe flag and scarf, took me so long because not long after the CL win it was out of stock and I totally forgot I wanted it until about 3 weeks ago.... bought a nice set of Adidas trainers too but they are too fucking small and need returning, god damn stupid not so narrow or small feet...

Putting Oscar in the pivot would be a waste, I think when he plays in the role similar to the one Mano Menezes gave him for Brazil hes at his best, like we saw against West Brom. If he was played in the pivot, he'd be restricted from roaming about and finding pockets of space in more advanced positions, which is in my opinion is one of his biggest strengths, as it 1) opens up room for other players by dragging opposition players out of position and 2) offers a good option to his team mates as well. He might step back into a deeper role in 8-9 years but I think anything before that would be a very very very big waste. I would also like to add my 2 cents about playing Oscar and Mata both as central MF players in a 4-3-3. Would never work in a month of Sundays. Whoever played as the deeper/holding MF player would be seriously overrun due to Mata's tendancy to push further up and even with Oscars work rate to get back still a team playing with 3 or 5 in MF would outnumber us and win the MF battle easily. Our MF would also be extremely lightweight and as good as it may be going forward we'd be fucked going back the way.

Second season syndrome. Also I still stand by what I said a few months back though. Can score goals, or he could back then anyway haha, hes not scored in a while. Seems to be missing a lot of easy chances tbh. Everton fans have been annoyed with him for a while, nothing seems to sit for him right now.
