  1. I seen someone post somewhere about resigning Lampard on a lower salary, I personally don't think he'll take a wage cut. Especially when hes nearing the end of his career, surely he'd goto LA Galaxy and take up that $250k p/w or whatever it was Beckham was on AND play every game rather than half what hes on and play 20 games a season next year. Lampard wants to keep playing regularly so letting go of him to use younger/better players wouldn't be that bad a thing. Sure I'd keep him if he'd accept a 100k wage cut and maybe get 25 games maximum a season but will he really accept that. Remember AVB tried, bad man management or not Lampard didn't like it. Anyway in my opinion, you build your team around your best players, Lampard is no longer in my eyes one of our best players so if we want to replace him in the summer to use a better suited player for the 4-2-3-1 formation we've been using, then do it. He can't play as a defensive midfielder because he leaves too much space for the opposition midfield and casually works back half the time. He can't play as an attacking midfielder because hes not that sort of player.
  2. Swansea were linked with him, he played for Liverpools youth academy I think... he was born 30 mins away from where I stay haha. Wee Gary Mackay-Stevens and his skills!
  3. Yep very true haha. Anyway Neymars tricks are overrated. Check this guys amazing skills out and Neymar who?
  4. See if Neymar put a bit of muscle on, I'd have him upfront leading the line.. Moses - Mata - Hazard / Neymar
  5. Neymar is class but overcomplicates everything, see if Roy Keane was still playing and he played against Neymar I have a funny feeling Neymar would never play again.... due to a heavy tackle which would be intended likely.... hahaha imagine Neymar trying to rainbow flick Roy Keane, he'd end up stretchered off
  6. Oh fuck... Ramires is a good player to have due to energy and stamina but can be hopeless in possession and if Lamps does what he did today and played absolute pish then we are fucked. Along with Marko Marin who was pathetic for most of what I seen too...... we could be fucked........
  7. Stats means nothing when your drawing with teams like Brentford in my opinion. They could win 5-0 if we play like we did today
  8. Might I suggest that AVB, Rafa, Harry and Brendan Rodgers are maybe just shit managers? Well tbh I still think AVBs a good manager so remove him....
  9. Start Ba and hopefully Luiz if he is fit in Lampards place. Rest will take care of itself. Well hopefully.
  10. I seen the first half, was absolute bollocks. Marko Marin was absolute bollocks, Frank Lampard was absolute bollocks, Gary Cahill was absolute bollocks and so was Ramires. Torres is always bollocks too. Not even joking how could we play so bad against weak opposition? Don't care how fired up they were for it we should have washed them aside easily. WHY DID BA COME ON IN THE 82ND FUCKING MINUTE AGAIN... ARG FUCK OFF RAFA... We need reinforcements. Torres out, another striker in. 2 more center mids and a replacement for Marin.
  11. Not trying to be funny but would you guys have preferred if Lampard just waltzed upto Messi and co like heres how its gonna go down 'You're gonna give us the ball, we're gonna play like you guys and have 70% of possession and create 50 chances, alright?" then we try that and get smashed 10-0 or something? Better to play it safe than like what Barca play, Barca aren't invincible, they may have the best style but style isn't always effective, I'd actually rather us be an effective team that creates fewer chances and scores them than one of these 'tiki taka' copycats who due to their style get teams sitting really deep and barely get a sniff/Arsenal.
  12. Haha I know. Tribalfootball is about as reliable as the sources I have saying we are going to sign Andre Arshaving on a 9 and a half year contract worth 500k p/w.
  13. Haha! Was thinking 4.4 billion is a bit steep even for Chelsea
  14. Fuck who cares about which style we won the CL in, we won the bastarding trophy after going close once before and maybe even twice if you class 2009 too. If you didn't like the way Chelsea won the CL then you are a complete nugget, how else were we gonna win it with that squad? Rely on Kalou's amazing spiderman haircut to distract the Bayern players? Honestly what a joke that guy is 'I did not like the way Chelsea wn the CL' just piss off. One of the most stupid comments I've ever seen on here, actually ridiculous.
  15. 4.4 billion then wow, too expensive :P
  16. well you mad muthafucker dat shizzle is well phat
  17. I'm usually in bed to about 12 or 1.... woke up at like quarter to 10.... just been watching that baldy bastard Pitbull running about signing random bullshit thta makes no sense because hes shit.
  18. I think he moved too soon, he was great at Sunderland but he played a bit more further up than a CM as he is for Lpool. He's starting to look a decent player for Liverpool now but that price tag will always be one of his problems.
  19. I read a few pages back and want to add my two cents to this Luiz > Mikel shit that is being posted. Ok Luiz was good in a few games - against smaller teams right enough - but still how does that justify that hes better than Mikel? Hes an alternative option there until Romeu is back fit and Mikel is back from the ACON. Luiz is still reckless, makes ridiculous challenges on players. This was evident as a center half, still is as a defensive midfielder. He has great distribution, not as accurate as Mikels but you could say he goes for the 'spectacular' pass every now and then risking possession rather than Mikel who always prefers to play a simpler pass that doesn't risk possession. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Luiz in my opinion also doesn't demonstrate a calm figure on the pitch, hes his own worst enemy 9/10 times, in games last season and sometimes this season he has lost the plot, lost his head when he shouldn't and we have payed for it or nearly have. Mikel is much more calmer on the ball it has to be said, hes not afraid to get the ball in sticky situations where hes got a marker tight on him, always there as an option, always moving to get the ball. Yes hes not always as forward thinking as Luiz but hes a steady passer who is capable of that killer pass when needed, also concedes possession less than Luiz. This has been more evident this year, for sure, also last year. Actually I seen him today or yesterday play an awesome through ball for a goal for Nigeria. Can't remember who it was who scored but it was a nice pass. You can say Mikel vs Juve cost us our place the in the CL bla bla bla bla bla but imo you have to look at JT and think 'What are you doing there mate?', trying to play offside when the guy has just recieved the ball, I also feel Cech didn't cover himself in glory tbh, he read the situation wrong and thought Quageralla (fuck the guys name honestly, unsure how to spell it) was going to just leather it so he kinda threw himself at it but still its more JT and the teams fault more than anything. When we are being pressed who would you rather have the ball, Mikel or Luiz? I know vs Swansea Luiz wasn't great on the ball when pressed, Mikels presence and calmness was desperately missed. In that 1-1 game at the Liberty Stadium I thought Mikel was the best player on the pitch for us, whenever he had the ball, there was 2 Swansea players coming towards him but he kept it really well, I don't think Luiz would have done the same, hes very risky with the ball, games vs Napoli and a whole load under AVB last year is evidence. Can't say hes really changed much since then, still charges forward, still plays some risky passes. His reading of the game is poor sometimes, hes rash just dives in when its unnessecary and concedes a foul/leaves space for opposition players. Mikel is a much better reader of the game. Still Luiz takes a mean freekick, I'll give him that. Hes a good passer when he doesn't overcomplicate things (like the risky passes he fizzes into players) and go for those 50 m passes to Floppes which should result in a booking for timewasting because Torres is just jobby. If Luiz can iron out certain things, be a bit calmer in the game, use his head more and not overreact, stop being as rash with tackles, read the game better, have better positioning at certain moments etc, he will be a top CB. Hes a good CB right now but that inconsistancy and issues that can sometimes be his problem are holding him back. Hes improved a lot physically, he looks a bit bulkier since he joined the club which credit due to him has helped him more in my opinion. Hes good in the air as well and fast on the turn so he has all the required tools to be a top CB. Still needs to mature a bit, maybe when hes in his prime years we might see this top CB that I believe he can come.
  20. Zaha has all the right attributes to be a good player and the desire it seems. So any top manager would hopefully be able to mould him into a top player but surely Fergie would be best for it.
  21. This is the same guy who said he'd pay 'many more millions' on Joe Allen.... who cost him 15 FUCKING MILLION..... fucking idiot he is. Bets if anyone elses player gets sent off they'd be raging, no doubt. Hazard will now be seen as public enemy number one for some wee cunt jumping on a ball thinking hes going to be 'famous' then gets kicked apparently and starts crying hahahahhaa, wee gimp.
  22. Exactly we couldn't even get rid of him to WEST FUCKING HAM who signed Joe 'shit since 2010' Cole
  23. I would of fancied us to try and sign Wilfred Zaha. Hes got good potential obviously, typical African forward player very pacey and strong despite having a large but skinny-ish frame. Still very raw but hes he looks to be quite talented. Can play left wing, right wing or through the middle and would be a bit more refreshing compared to Hazard, Marin and Mata trying to pass themselves through teams rather than look to beat players. Similar to Victor Moses, not as far on in his developement but still a good young player. Obviously Moses seems to have better technical qualities and better decision making but I wouldn't say Zaha is really much worse. £10 Million upfront with another £5 million on apperances could be very good for United if he plays well in the PL. Obviously Moses so far was cheaper and has performd in the PL but until we see Zaha in the PL it will be very hard to compare them.
