Defensively Ramires could be used as a RW in a 4-4-1-1 or 4-2-3-1 to defend against talented teams left sides but offensively he could come into the middle as a box to box midfielder. It would mean going 4-3-3 though with Mata/Hazard(as an AM), Mikel and Ramires effectively**. Its an interesting thought tbh but it won't happen as it will unbalance the team when we are attacking leaving our right side vulnerable to counter attacks. **Inverted midfield (2-1 rather than a 1-2 or flat 3) -------Mata/Eden------- ---------------------------- ---Mikel---------Rami--- Anyway Eden hopefully will get a few vs QPR

Well Villa scored 17 Barcelona goals quicker than Torres scored 17 Chelsea goals didn't he? Villas record at Barca is still decent. Look at his Spain record though, top goalscorer in their history, if that doesn't shout "quality" at you then fuck knows what does! Villas hardly declining with age, his game was never about pace. Was always about clever movement and being clinical in front of goal. Always will be, he could play at a top level unto hes 36-37 because hes similar to Del Piero in the way that his game was never about speed. Thinking Villa's declining because hes getting old is ridiculous. Does that mean Lampard and Cole have declined? Maybe Lampards not the 20 goal a season MF but hes still good. Coles not as young but still the best or second best LB in the world. Age is just a number.

Hes barely a declining player, what gives any sign hes a declining player? He just needs to be used in his proper position, same with Zlatan at Barca. Zlatan left and flourished because he was played in his proper position, would be the same with Villa. To say Villa's a declining player because he suffered a leg break is a ridiculous thing to say.

His recent stats are worse than Torres? That's not right because in the first 7 games after his leg break, he'd scored 5 times. Thats not worse than Torres. Thats him also playing on the wing too. Why would he go 50-50 on an appearance based wage when he could easily go 100-0 on an appearance based wage at any club that wants him? Well I adore Scotland because they win the WC every 4 years.......... basically I would kill for a player of Sneidjers quality to be Scottish.... he dragged Holland to the WC final by himself so surely he'd get us past the qualification haha then some stupid cunt called Craig Levein would fuck it all up by playing a 4-6-0 with no wingers but an additional set of full backs and no striker because hes a tosspot.

Whoever said Sneidjer is one of the most overrated players of the last decade or whatever is off their nut. Sneidjer is one of the finest MF players around right now. If he was fit he'd walk into more or less every team in Europe except Barca/Real and ours because we have too many AMs.

Haha John Carew wow I agree we need 2 new strikers at least, maybe 3 if we can get 3. I'd take Llorente but I still think theres better options out there. I'd have Walcott, Ba, Dzeko, Lewandowski, Lorenzo Insigne (think thats how you spell it, can't remember if hes a winger or a striker though) etc ahead of him.

Even the Walcott playing every week despite his contract running up kinda backs up my point about Llorente. You pick your best players week in and week out. Drogba played with his contract running down last year because he was our best striker. Sure their other strike might be in form but if Llorente was that good he'd still be playing. I don't see the point in managers making their best players sit on the bench over a contract, surely they would rather have them playing to try and get them further up the league no?
