As well as Modric played last night, as Strike pointed out he isn't actually the greatest defensively. He may try and hassle his opponent to win the ball but hes not actually that good at 'winning' it. Its one thing to hassle an opponent and another thing to win it back. We need an Alonso like player to play next to Mikel. Great at dictating the tempo and good at winning the ball as well. I'd actually quite like Marco Verratti or Joao Moutinho, both are good at winning the ball and dictating play, spreading play etc like Alonso. Modric is certainly able to create but hes not as good as Alonso defensively which is why Jose starts him as a number 10 rather than as a number 6 imo.

If he was as confident as I am when playing badminton, he'd be even worse. I am by far the worst badminton player this world has ever seen but lets be honest, at least my knees still work fully though Nando Hes beyond repair though, that sprinter guy should work with him for a bit tbh see if he can get his pace back as Roman won't cut him loose yet.... he should also get some sort of mental fitness coach because his confidence before big games, in fact in any games, clearly doesn't exist.

Not really a recent buy but I bought the Champions of Europe flag and scarf, took me so long because not long after the CL win it was out of stock and I totally forgot I wanted it until about 3 weeks ago.... bought a nice set of Adidas trainers too but they are too fucking small and need returning, god damn stupid not so narrow or small feet...

Putting Oscar in the pivot would be a waste, I think when he plays in the role similar to the one Mano Menezes gave him for Brazil hes at his best, like we saw against West Brom. If he was played in the pivot, he'd be restricted from roaming about and finding pockets of space in more advanced positions, which is in my opinion is one of his biggest strengths, as it 1) opens up room for other players by dragging opposition players out of position and 2) offers a good option to his team mates as well. He might step back into a deeper role in 8-9 years but I think anything before that would be a very very very big waste. I would also like to add my 2 cents about playing Oscar and Mata both as central MF players in a 4-3-3. Would never work in a month of Sundays. Whoever played as the deeper/holding MF player would be seriously overrun due to Mata's tendancy to push further up and even with Oscars work rate to get back still a team playing with 3 or 5 in MF would outnumber us and win the MF battle easily. Our MF would also be extremely lightweight and as good as it may be going forward we'd be fucked going back the way.

Second season syndrome. Also I still stand by what I said a few months back though. Can score goals, or he could back then anyway haha, hes not scored in a while. Seems to be missing a lot of easy chances tbh. Everton fans have been annoyed with him for a while, nothing seems to sit for him right now.

May sound odd but I actually want AVB back tbh, players at Spurs are buying into his methods and look how well they are doing. Obviously it wont happen but yeah.

Don't you not have to take it on rest days as well? The tub I've got says take a 5g serving with breakfast and a 5g serving with your dinner on rest days. I only just started taking it and well I don't know too much about it, Im just hoping that the fucker who wrote the label is correct lmao..

Hope Ake gets some game time, preferably a start.

Raphael Varane, 19 years old, 2 games vs Barca, 2 goals and 2 very good, commanding performances along with the other games hes had this season and last season. 10m € from Lens, what a find!

No. Point is we have been one of the most ambitious and successful club of the last 9-10 years. When was the last time Liverpool won 3 PLs, 1 CL, 4 FA cups, 2 league cups and 2 Community Shields in a 10 year peroid? or anyone for that matter? Roman still wants to win everything, his finances that he pours into the club season after season on top players prove it. I think the ambition and drive from Roman and hopefully a good coach (who hopefully gets time) would be more than enough to attract top players still. Its not like if we fell out of the top 4 we'd be forgotten, we'd come back stronger, because we can attract the players to do so with the funds we have and the fact that Roman wouldn't allow us just to be a top 6 or top 8 club.
-
Yes. We're a big enough club to attract players with or without CL football.
-
No I think Inter gave them like 10 million euros plus 50% of Marco Davide Faraone IIRC.
-
Chelsea is a global name, drop out of the CL and we'll still attract big players, end of story If the board and coach can sell the club to the player, CL football shouldn't matter.

Why the F*ck is he in the side?

I think Marins had a certain amount of games where now surely we'd have seen something at the required level to be a main player here, which we haven't. Yossi Benaytraitor = the one who won't be named. -
ah you nearly had me there, NEARLY I think he looks a decent player Rogic, hes surely one of the few success stories from that Nike Academy thing too. Mustafa Amini turned down Celtic for Dortmund I think... still think theres hope he will get minutes at Dortmund in a season or two possibly but thats nearly 3 seasons of his developement wasted. Matthew Ryan is meant to be talented, heard a bit about him, trained with Spurs last summer IIRC (seen on Sky Sports at one point), a decent goalkeeper, tbh the Socceroos have more young talent coming through than Scotland anyway haha. Forrest is average as fuck now, McCabe and Wilson left Rangers far too soon and well Feruz is only 16 hard to see him getting games for the senior team unless he gets games and impresses.

The highlights on MOTD right now, wow we were absolutely fucking horrific wowowowowowowoowowowowowowowoow so so so so s shit, there wasn't even one highlight of us attacking in the first half. We've been shite under Rafa a lot but this is just horrible to watch.
-
what the fuck did I just see
-
must win this, can't stand watching another embarrasing performance against low opposition
-
do you watch any of the A-League? or seen anything of Tomas Rogic (ex Central Coast Mariners, plays for Celtic now)? Seen him play earlier today looked a pretty good talented young Aussie player....

So does some gobshite on twitter (well he called me an idiot, twat, retard etc which usally is associated with our board so....) because I said I'd prefer we sat Lampard on the bench and got someone whos actually a playmaker and used him next to Mikel........... Anyway I'm just thinking we should go back to 4-3-3. Best formation for us. Still trying not to laugh at these twitter gobshites though
