Hernandez is a decent shout, as is Remy in my eyes. We could do worse than spending £8.5M on a guy who has a decent PL goal record and would be willing to be a number 2 striker at a big club. Hes different to what we have to, a genuine pacey striker, hes very very quick, quicker than Costa.

I don't blame you having no love for Scotland, its fucking shite everywhere more or less, well in places like Glasgow, Dundee and Edinburgh it is. Jose could have managed the situation better? He wanted to use him in his squad, Lukaku missed a penalty and decided he was leaving lmao. Jose tried to convince him to stay but he wanted to leave permanently but did Jose let him? No. Lukaku is all talk, remember when he talked to the media trying to say Jose didn't want him in the squad and Jose responded and he shut his mouth? Also 12M for a player with 6 months on their contract, thats brilliant business given he also had maybe just over one full season of regular PL games (6 months as a regular at Bolton and 6 months regularly for Chelsea and handfuls of appearances for City tbh) so you can hardly say the board did bad. We could have let him go for free and got nothing in July, then if he had gone on and scored goals for Pool everyone would be greeting their tits off about him even more.

He wanted to leave last summer and he wasn't given the chance to leave on a full time basis, we are getting rid of him now, whats the problem? He probably still didn't want to be here this season. If your not prepared to fight for your place at a club like Chelsea, similar to Kevin De Bruyne, you lack the mentality to be a top player. Competition improves every player, evidently he didn't fancy it.

Lollichon is an exceptional goalkeeping coach, he must be one of the best in the business. Just look at how Cech went from a young guy to one of the world's most consistent and best goalkeepers from when he first signed and even now he still is up there and definitely was the best GK in the PL last year. Players improve under excellent coaches. Sure Cech was a talented goalkeeper but you can't feel he hasn't been helped to improve his reflexes, decision making, handling and distribution as well by Lollichon with his excellent and unique goalkeeper training. Its hard to find coaches and staff that are up there with the best so even if we lose Cech we must keep Lollichon, Courtois could get even better under his guidance.

A lot to come from this boy, such a well rounded player. I was very impressed with him last pre-season as well, hopefully he will have better luck this year, looks such a confident guy for being 21 and sort of reminds me of Roy Keane in a way, flying into tackles. Also hes similar to Strootman as in hes a box to box midfielder, I'd say going forward maybe Kevin has much more to his game but he is a few years older as well so I suppose Marco has still got time to develop, also remember he scored 10 or 11 goals for Vitesse the season before we signed him, he obviously has the skill set to get up the park and score goals.

After one season in the PL is he really 20M though? I mean hes a good player yeah but I wouldn't have been happy if we'd paid 20M for him. Liverpool have yet to sign a player of a similar quality to our signings of Cesc and Costa, Arsenal's of Sanchez and United's of Herrera. Sure Markovic and Can will be great in a few years and Lambert and Lallana are good players but Liverpool have gone from title contenders down to top 4 contenders again in my eyes, losing Suarez is massive.

If this goes anything like my FM saves then Vitesse should win 2-0 despite having 4 shots on target and 29% of the ball....

Was delighted to see him play next to Matic, I was worried in case Mourinho was going to stick him in the #10 position like he did with Modric at Madrid sometimes. Not to get carried away as it was very weak opposition but you can just tell hes going to make us so much better, excellent range of passing, vision, he even got stuck in as well despite fears of him being too lightweight to play in the pivot. Great work by Jose, solving an issue we've had in midfield for years.

Finally a striker who doesn't stand fucking still.

Three huge games where we needed to be solid defensively and disciplined to get a result. Maybe for open football hes not the best but we aren't going to be playing swashbuckling, open, attacking football like Liverpool, Everton, United or City this year. Hes hardly been found out. I'd prefer to keep him than lose him because squads win you titles, not 11 players. Like Cole he didn't play in every game after Azpi displaced him but when called upon he was very reliable.

Will he wear number 15 now Salah has changed to 17?

Since when has Torres or Ba ever played on the wing for Chelsea - other than two games which Torres did that I can really think of, one where he made a 15 minute cameo in the CL final and another playing against Everton last game of the season under Rafa. Marin was mostly injured in that year, he played like 3 games then was out for 4 months, Benayoun came back from a loan spell half way through the year as well (I think) or wasn't in the squad as Di Matteo didn't use him. 'Also with Moses coming back' ???? Moses won't be here at the start of the PL season, if Jose rated him do you think he would of loaned him to Liverpool last season? No.

The only thing messy was what could have happened in that tackle where he nearly took half of Stephane Mbia's leg off to be honest.

What?!?! Since when have they played as wingers? They are CFs. What the fuck have you been smoking? Also 30 appearances might not be possible in your eyes but I think he will get about that, given he will probably start at least 10 games a season, maybe more due to injuries and suspensions. We compete in the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and Capital One Cup so he will get a lot of sub appearances too as hes probably better coming on for 20 or 25 minutes when defenders are tiring and spaces open up for him to run into. I'd imagine Jose will field a weaker team (well in theory it won't be that weak a team as players like Salah, Zouma, van Ginkel etc. are more than good enough to play regularly in the PL imo) in the FA cup and Capital One Cup, where he would likely start.
