At some point you have to change your approach. This is the second time we've sat deeper vs a non-mediocre team and it was also the second time that the opponent managed to score a goal to tie things up. Busquets was merely a product of the system Barcelona played. Like someome said on these forums a couple of years ago, if Mikel played for Barclona people would be claiming he's the best DM in the world. Now that the tiki-taka isn't working anymore Busquets and especially Pique are highly exposed as the overrated players they always were. It's easy playing football when the rest of your team has the ball 70% of the time but come the time the opponent has it, you either have to be very athletic or have to possess a high football IQ. Neither applies to Busquets (and Pique, for that matter).

Yeah, Gourlay didn't do well when it comes to sponsoring deals. Though, Gourlay did manage to get a couple of new sponsors on board the last couple of years none of them was a big one, and ultimately if the reported Turkish Airlines deal is true then that might have been the last straw. Rationally thinking, it would be pretty embarrassing if Gourlay was the lone man negotiating with Turkish Airlines without anyone else supporting him and having a veto.

Hence it's more likely he goes with Ivanovic or even Cesar before Fabregas as our next captain (hypothetically considering Jose's still our coach by the time Terry is no longer our captain) simply because they have deserved it over a longer period.
