Calm yourself, mate. He's still a Chelsea player and didn't straight up say he wants out. He deserves the benefit of the doubt for the time being. No need to curse him.

Way I see it is if Real Madrid or PSG come in with a massive bid he'll go. If they play dirty like the Spanish giants are known to do (managers and players complimenting him in the media and saying they'd "love him in their team") and try to get Hazard to ask for the move then I'm not sure he'll force it. This situation is 100% dependent on the managerial appointment and ambition we show in the transfer market. We either go big or lose the most talented player we've ever had. On a side note, I'll never have any respect for a top player in their prime choosing to go to PSG. A nothing league with zero competition for them. Their season is over before it starts. Your season is a failure if you don't win the CL. In my opinion the best in the world should play in the best leagues. What a waste they are in Paris.

Really hope we don't set out for a boring draw and actually have a go. They come across to me as a super arrogant side who think they'll dominate us. We can respect them without being cowards on the pitch. Honestly, their midfield scares the shit out of me as does their front line. Verratti and co might boss our sluggish Fabregas/Mikel midfield. Ibra/Cavani/Di Maria/Lucas against Ivanovic and Cahill? Man... Our best hope is to test their defenders and have a proper go at them. They will not have seen players of the quality of Hazard, Willian, or Costa in the shit French league. Quick passing, great off the ball movement from Diego, and a switched on Hazard should wreak havoc. If we turn up and play slow zombie-ball we'll get blown off the pitch and surrender 70% or more possession. Maybe go for an all out, pacey attack featuring all three of Hazard, Willian, and Pedro behind Diego. Doubt we will, though, as I think Oscar is nailed on for this one.

Barring a miracle CL victory I think there is now a real possibility that he'll want to leave. Didn't want to believe he's that kind of guy to want out after one poor season but it seems he's obsessed with CL football and may not be willing to go without it even for one year. Just hope our board demand a world record fee and not a penny less. They paid 50m for Luiz so they can pay 80+ for Hazard. Same goes for Real Madrid if they come in. If they can pay it for Bale they can for Hazard. On the other hand, what we have working in our favor is that it would be so difficult to replace him that we may just refuse also offers and make him stay. I know we as a club don't hold players if they want to go but it would take some spectacular signings like a Reus or Griezmann level player to replace his impact. With no CL football it'll be hard to convince them to come so Hazard may be more valuable to us here than a shed load of money that we can't do much with.

Wait, I just realized... Who's the troll who put David Moyes up there?
-
Yet another reason I want Simeone. He's a master at getting everyone to buy in and try their hearts out. Sacrifice for the betterment of the team. Everyone works hard and they play in the image of their manager.

Spuds are the perfect example of a team that's brilliantly coached. This is all Pochettino. Loads of average players with a touch of class here and there but nothing too special talent wise. Everyone buys in to the coach and raises their game. They only have about 2 players who would make our XI. Which says a whole lot about how bad we've been with what we have this season.
-
That may haunt Leicester for a while. Can see this as the turning point in their season. Wouldn't be surprised to see them slip away a bit. Gutting. I hate Arsenal with every fiber of my being.

Cheers, guys. My first order of business is to permaban everyone I don't like!
-
Is someone gonna tell our boys the second half has started!?
-
Please don't make early changes and allow them back in it.
-
Just like last weekend, the good result is overshadowed by an injury to one of our most important players. Pray it isn't serious for JT, otherwise we'll have no one organizing our defense.
-
Please be okay, John! Fuck!
-
Worried about us in the middle of the pitch...
-
On one hand, at Man United. On the other hand I don't want Mou to go there midsession, galvanize them, and they push on and finish in the top 4. I want them to stick with LvG for the remainder of the season and keep them out of the CL places. Would make our season a little more bearable if they also don't have CL next season.

Will be interesting to see how Mourinho uses Martial. Will he be his Eden Hazard who plays wide or will he play behind the striker? Will also see if he sticks with Rooney as his striker or gets a younger, top class one for Martial to play off of. Either way, Martial is going to be a beast soon enough. Already excellent.

I was saying all month that we shouldn't have even been after one at all. Save every last penny for the new manager. There's nothing to really play for this season now other than the FA Cup which we have enough firepower for. Pato just seems a bit of a pointless signing.
-
If we were so desperate to buy a striker/attacker that we'd take one who's a month from match fitness, why wouldn't we instead just get one who was fit? That's why I'm personally puzzled by this move.
-
You know he's going to stay. We'll hear "this will be the manager that will make him consistent" like we always do. Hes a player I want to love because he clearly has superb talent and shows sporadicly that he's capable of brilliance, but he does it once every 4-5 matches it seems like. He can look amazing one day and we call for him to be yanked at half time other days. Big dilemma with Oscar. I think that our attack would look so much better with a quality replacement for him but I also think that if we sold him he'd pull a Kevin De Bruyne and become a superstar somewhere else. This is why I'm not sure if we should get rid. We kind of have to see what the next manager can do with him.
-
In that case, MOD ME!
-
This is true. But I'd still rather sign a sure thing than take a gamble that we hope pays off.
-
Ha! In all seriousness, I'm coming up on my 5 year TalkChelsea anniversary and feel like I know what it takes to be a mod. I just don't know if I'd be able to perform all the mod duties via iPad since its exclusively what I use the Internet on. Don't even own a traditional PC currently.

Even if we want him and he wanted to leave I wonder what it would take to buy him. £50m? Unless we get Simeone and he tells the board that he really wants him.
-
I'd do it but am too lazy to write an application.
-
I wonder if top players would look at Allegri and want to come to Chelsea and play for him. If he has great pulling power or not. If, for instance, a player is wanted by all the top English sides would they choose a CL-less Chelsea over Pep/Mou/Wenger? This is what my first concern is with Allegri. With Simeone I don't think it's a problem at all. I think the recruitment would be top notch with him.
