Well if Roman and AVB can pull either off ill be their slave for the next month,
-
were clearly going to get shit highlights like last year, unless we lose ofcourse they will use half the show to broadcast us.
-
maybe a £50m double switch Subotic and Gotze, in this current market thats a bargain.
-
He's a good player but don't see why he is massively hyped like he is. Would choose Hazard and Gotze before him.
-
I really think we should go for him for these reason's. 1. John Terry cannot go on forever and we really dont want to get ourself's in a Liverpool-Carragher situation here. 2. Gary Cahill while he will be a good squad player for us is not a first choice for a team that want to chalenge on all fronts, Subotic is borderline world class and will only improve here. 3. In the summer he will be 23 while Luiz will be 25, thats a top class partnership for the next 5 years. 4 He might cost a bit but will have significant re sale value aswell.
-
Not sure if he will hack it in the prem. Having said that whoever in Ipswich that sold him on the cheap should be banned from anything football related for life.
-
Bit extreme, we finished 2nd 8 months ago and that was without Mata and DAnny.
-
If Terry gets banned and Cahill comes in we will only be an injury to Cahill or Luiz away to playing that dreaded combination of Bosingwa on the right and Ivanovic in the centre, that argubally cost us against United last seaosn in the CL and we can't let that happen in big matches again, which is why we need to sign him imo.
-
Really can't see it happening with Napoli facing us in the CL soon. Imagine if Cavani joined us then Napoli went on and did a Liverpool esque fluke show what a kick in the balls that would be to him?

It wasn't u pacifically i was responding too just the whole Frank issue, quoted you because your comment was the nearest one ;lol:

Little things that annoy you about Football matches

For example when Mario Ballotelli scored first place the camera zoomed (apart from his celebration) was the reaction of AVB and RDM, same when Shane Long scored against us for West Brom. When Arsenal were beating us at The Emirates last season they spent most of the match zooming in on Carlo likewise with Wenger in the reverse fixture when we were beating them. Other times they seemed to do Drogba for this, Parks goal against us in the CL and almost immediatly broadcasting live a close up on Drogba looking glum walking to the centre circle, i think they did the same when Flamini scored that smash and grab goal at The Bridge against us too. -
Why should he hold the cards anyway? He is at a club threatened with relegation and one of the best teams in the land want him? How the fuck is he holding the cards he should be desparate to join us. We should call his bluff and offer him a 40k deal and if he proves himself in the next year and a half then a payrise, if he says no tell him to fuck off and go for Roger Johnson. If we want to get rid off our reputation of being took for a ride then bending over to Cahil's wage demands is the worst thing we can possibly do.

Dont know why but it annoys me when the camera's zoom in on the manager or a player in the team that has just conceded a goal. They use to do that all the time with Drogba for some stupid reason. -
I dont get this sometime. Last season we were complaining that Carlo was not firm enough with the ego's in the squad now we have a manager who dares treat every single player in the squad equal and doesn't pander down to the big ego's we are moaning again, i don't get it. Isn't that what we wanted first and foremost, a manager who is firm on the big ego's in the squad and breaking up the player power (which he is doing)? We have been pining for that for years and now that's happening we are complaining again.
-
All hypothetical now but after seeing Barca's Guardiola gamble pay off handsomenly should we have taken a gamble when Jose left and give Steve Clarke the job? He is probally the best no2 in the buisness and lets be honest behind the scene's he probally was more of a manager than Avram in 2007/2008, was their any point in appointing a manager who had no previous expierence outside Isreal when we had a hungry young assistant eager to make the step up and someone who has Chelsea in his blood. Wouldn't it have made sense to give him a chance?
-
Actually while i think of Bosingwa would it make more sense to offer Marsielle £8-10m plus Bosingwa?
-
Id happily see us pay double that if it shoves Bosingwa down the pecking order.
-
Agreed. So many times in recent season's injuries have forced Ivan to play in the centre which means Bosingwa at right back, his arrival should it happen will significantly reduce the odds on that happening again.
-
I signed him for Chelsea on fifa On a more serious note i have liked what all be it little i have seen of him and his arrival will reduce the chances of us having to see that Bosingwa at the right back and Ivan in the centre dreaded combination.
-
Wouldnt worry about it, when i was 8 i was forced to sit in the home crowd at Highbury (dads a gooner), turns out that match i had to suffer through watch was Thierry Henry's debut and i didn't relise that until he left Worst 90 minutes of my life by far.

The poor service excuse can only work for so long. Even with a bunch of dinosours behind him a player of tha calibre should be scoring more than 5 times in a year.
-
If Lampard is not prepared to accept a lesser role and toe in line he leaves, simple as that. This is Chelsea FC not Frank Lampard FC, any player who puts their own needs before the club should go. Im not saying Frank will do that but IF he does, then we let him go its as simple as that as please don't reply with he was world class in 2007 as to why he should stay and play every week, its being sentimental with the ageing stars that got us in this shit of the last season and a half in the first place. Look at Zola for example, did he kick up a fuss when Ranieri reduced his role between 01-03, infact that decision helped us get CL football as we ended up getting more out of Zola when he did play. Zola accepted that he was getting on and can't play non stop like the old days and hopefully Frank will do the same.
-
If we bend over to his fucking wage demands i will flip. Tell him 40k, perform well next season and a half you will get a rise, if not tell him to fuck off and get in Roger Johnson.
