He denied an approach for both Mata and Cahill aswell.

That means Bosingwa at RB again #playpaulopleaseAVB

I think has came in for a bit of harsh stick so far, yes maybe he could have utilised Ryan Bertrand better and played Josh McEachran a bit more than he has done but i dont think he has done too bad in that department for now. Daniel Sturridge - Has found a place in the side for Danny and is getting rewarded with goals and stellar displays. AVB could have easily have 'played safe' and stuck with Anelka and loaned Danny out again but took a chance with him and its paying off. Oriol Romeu - Most would have 'played safe' and stuck with Mikel and putting it down to expierence, AVB decided to give Oriol and run and is largely getting rewarded with dominant displays on the pitch. Romelu Lukaku - I think the plan for AVB was to give him more time than he has done, but Lukaku is taking time to adapt to English football so i 100% think AVB has done the right thing taking him away from the firing line for now. Josh McEachran - His game time has been disapointing but i honestly believe had this season gone more to plan he would have played more, despite that AVB still names him in most matchday squad's and in pre season had Josh alongside him in interviews so its obvious Josh in in AVB's long term plans. Ryan Bertrand - Only one AVB has disapointed in for me, should have got more game time than he has done. Nathaniel Chalaboh - AVB took him to pre season and judging by the comments he has made about him see's a big future for him. So i think Bertrand aside AVB has not done that much wrong with the young players and he has found a place in this team for Sturridge and Oriol and in time i fuly trust him to do the same with the other 4 aswell. In AVB i trust.

Yes as soon as the well fed "superstars" or atleast most of them are gone and more players that suit his style are in i reckon we will hit new heights i really do. As you said Ramires, Mata and co (basically our future spine) are on his side and no one is bigger than the club anyone who is not preprared to toe in line with the new era should leave.

Great article. What i am going to say is i think its time to let Drogba and Lampard leave as legend's. Back when they were at their peak there weren't too many better and ive said before Lampard is truly one of a kind we will never find another player that will offer 20 goals a season from midfield (not on a consistent basis anyway) but both will be 34 last season and command higher wages sometimes the club need to make decision's like this for the long term benefit of the club. Aswell letting those 2 go will be a clear message that player power down Cobham is a thing of a past.

Its worth noting the bit on just how good AVB made Porto last season. Only 6 points dropped, a treble and numerous records broken. There he had the right players to work with his style, every one toed together as one and the results were near enough a given before kick off. As soon as the well fed "superstars" are gone and players that suit AVB's style are in what's to say he can't do exactly the same with us? If he took over City in the summer i reckon they would have (as good as) won the league already.

ok if it helps ill just stay as i am

Aslong as he plays i dont care where he goes. It is really annoying seeing all our loans (bar Danny) go wrong (Van Aanholt, Kakuta X 2) while rival clubs seem to have their players played in the loan market (Cleverly, Walker, Naughton, Welbeck).

1-1 against Everton, Cahill last minute leveler.
-
Well if the games boring there be no short of entertaiment on the touchine with AVB and MON

Going to this one, been to SB 15 times and seen 14 wins

AVB said we wont be signing Cahill then and then said after Cahill we wont sign anyone and is now saying we are looking at 2 players, interesting. Aswell as RDM saying we are happy with the squad. Either there doing it delibratetly to confuse the media, keeping their cards close to their chest or keep changing their mind.

The next 2 years are make or break for him. Funny thing was for Fulham he started twice, at Old Trafford and the Stadium of light, impressed in both and scored at the SOL, even United fans were quietly impressed with him at OT. Started twice for Bolton, at Villa Park impressed and scored and impressed when he started at The Emirates aswell. So i still believe either Hughes or Coyle took a chance and thought fuck it lets give this kid some game time we could be sitting pretty in terms of his development right now. 22-23 is when the late developers start breaking through (IE Cleverly, Pedro, hopedully Bertrand next season) if Djon proves a good move and he gets confidence then a prem club take him on loan and actually play him i still reckon we have a player on our hands. Keep the faith
-
He does score goal even if they are just tap ins (Hernandez is the same and United fans dont moan). Could you imagine him scoring goals for Arsenal that knock us out of the CL spot? He may not be the best player around but a 10 goal a season average (discluding this season) isnt bad atall for a subsitute winger and yes most may be tap ins but goals are goals.

Bruma said the same at the start of the season that he wants to stay in Hamburg next summer unless AVB can offer him significant playing time. Maybe we should do the 3 year plan with Bruma that we are doing with Courtious. Maybe i should be the chief executive instead of Ron "i wank over being ripped off" Gourlay.

QPR will (if they go through) be the first club to have 2 cup finals in one season but still go down If they go beat MK Dons are we going to get those nutjobs coming on this forum in the pre match buildup again?
-
Im not defending the mistake but if Alex, Ivan or Terry did it it would have just been brushed under the carpet. Even Bosingwa doesnt get derided like that for error's although i guess that's because were use to them
-
Its silly how Luiz gets blasted even by his own fans when he makes some mistakes yet Alex's msitake against WBA, FUlham and even the one against Blackburn that yet Yakubu in is worse than any bad thing Luiz has done yet we hardly batted a eyelid in comparision
-
Coyle fucked up with Wiess aswell so it 2-2 in that respect. AVB has done wonders with Danny but so far (can't stress that word enough) hasn't done as good as we hoped with Josh and Ryan so in that respect its 1-2. Seaking of that surely AVB deserves credit for blooding Sturridge? Ive heard a lot of people on here mention about how good Fergie is when he brought Cleverly into the team this season but that was on the back off a loan just like Danny's was, yet AVB gets slated for his youth and use Fergie's promotion of Cleverly as an example of what he should be doing even tho AVB did the same with Sturridge. Yes it would be nice to see Josh, Ryan and co more but Sturridge was the youth, borderline first team player that needed to be uterlised in the team first and AVB has found a place for him and i fully trust that in time he will do the same for those 2.
