Last season we were stagnant and i witnessed some of the worse performances since i started following Chelsea. This season's hasn't been that bad in comparision.

Last season we went from being in March 3 points behind Spurs to finishing the season 9 points above them.

Modric was not coming, Spuds were not budging what choice did we have? Still he is a player of decent calibre and £12m for him is a steel when you consider that Downing, Henderson and Young (bar the 8-2 Arsenal game he has been utter shit for United) cost more.

A weird positive we could say from this as it must mean AVB has full control over things now and Roman does back him long term (if this story is true). If Grant, Scolari or Carlo tried to do something like this then Roman would have surely over-ruled them. Well there's always defensive midfield Funny thing is tho with Bruma im being serious he did well there for Leicester.

Is their going to be a completel overhaul in January. If so as we can only change 3 places for the CL that could leave us pretty thin if Kalouda goes for example. Maybe AVB's plan is to use new signing's in the PL to gel while the old guard focus on the CL more.

Danny is best on the right wing. He infact plays better on the wing than the "natural" English wingers Young, Downing and co do.

IMO we need to sign 2 centre back in January and make Ivan a permanent RB once and for all. Not only does moving Ivan into the centre weaken the right side, it's put's Ivan in a position he does not look as good in.

Im no expert like Esk but im my opinion when Bosingwa and Ferreira go (infact even if they stay beyond the summer) Toddy should move up to being Ivan's backup. Every time i have seen him in the reserves he has been class and he scores goals which if you can have a goalscoring fullback that's pure gold.

Strongly reccomened signing up, im not usually too keen on football manager games but even i enjoy this. So if you are a fan of football manager games you will defo enjoy this How many teams are we looking to get in?

With Suarez im starting to think he only looks good because of the dross he has around him, i mean if you can't look good playing with Henderson and Carroll your in the wrong sport. Would he stand out at Arsenal ahead of RVP? no chance Would he stand out with us over Mata and Danny? he would look ordinary in comparision to those 2 Would he stand out at City ahead of Silva and Aguero? no he would look ordinary Would he stand out at United ahead or Rooney and Nani? nope As forReal and Barca, i doubt he would even get on their bench let alone team.
