  1. Even if its someone on a 6 month loan even, the thought of the Bosingwa RB and Ivanovic CB in the latter stages of the CL AGAIN is giving me nightmares.
  2. With JT facing a possible ban and if AVB tells this mystical centre half that Ivanovic is going to right back and staying there thenim sure we could convince someone. Subotic or Hummels would be perfect.
  3. I Still stand by the fact we need another centre half. If JT gets banned we are one injury to Cahill or Luiz away from having to play that dreaded combo of Bosingwa at RB with Ivanovic in the centre, something that has failed on numerous occasion's and measure's should have been made to avoid that combo happening again after the Scolari season, the fact that there is a real danger it could happen in the CL latter stages 3 years on baffles me. Also Ivanovic is best at right back, he was fantastic in 2009/2010 until we foolishly started moving him around again, stick him at right back keep him there and get more cover in the centre to make sure he stays there ffs.
  4. Walker is just a overhyped version of Bosingwa,
  5. All user's on here are good in their own way. Term and Henrique for example may not agree with most of us and can be a bit controversial at times but can you honestly say this forum would be a better place without them? Because i don't think it will be.
  6. He started ok it was the Roma game in Italy were i started realising something was seriously not right wid this guy.
  7. I was aware of his incapbibilities since the Scolari days. The double season made it even more obvious, he didn;t play most of it not only do we improve in defence but go scoring 7/8 goals numerous games. I knew his return would do more harm than good and i was right.
  8. When i went to the game yesterday i kept a close eye on Bosingwa and im trying to work out what football talent he actually has. Lost EVERY header he went for, cant tackle, cant cross, what does he do?
  9. @Fernando IMO that man was Tiago, he was just settling in to English football and we go and sell him, i think he would have been our key man through these last 6 years had we kept him and im not over-exaggrating.
  10. He was good yesterday, had a chance to score an all. On a side note you should have seen the reaction of the people around me in the MH lower when i told them Malouda was coming on
  11. Sometimes i wish members of talk Chelsea were on teh Chelsea board.
  12. Don't confuse boring football with a decent defence and knowing how to win. Some of the best football ive ever seen us play was when Duff and Robben were on the flanks with Lampard and Tiago behind them, why we let the latter go ill never know.
  13. bushranger signing in and getting loads of his QPR mates to make accounts in 3 2 1
  14. Malouda was decent when he came on, he didn't do his usual run into the full back or shot from the half way line shit.
  15. Alex has made numerous mistakes this season when he played. Its silly no one bats an eyelid when Alex puts Zola in the shade with an assist to Shane Long against West Brom, gave away silly penalites against Fulham and Liverpool and miskicking to let Yakubu in against Blackburn while David Luiz gets slated for anything he does that isnt Beckenbauer esk
  16. Genius impression of the awful Javier Hernandez there from Frank Lampard
  17. We in the MHS all thought it was Torres that scored before Neil announced it as Lampard. We thought the scissor kick went in off the bar.
  18. The whole of the Matthew Harding Stand thought it was Torres that scored the goal It looked like the ball hit the bar and went instead instead of falling to Lamps.
  19. FFS we won and i was at The Bridge today and we were no were near as bad as some are making out, we weren't amazing but we are hardly bad, we created enough chances and should have had 3 penalties. It was a professional performance and a good win.
  20. I was at the game today so i think i can give a fair judgement. Your being a bit harsh on David Luiz, he had no choice but to give that early foul because Bosingwa was as usual in no mans land, he looked assured today, Bosingwa was the liability not David Luiz. Torres was very good as was Ramires, we all thought Torres scored as we were at the Matthew Harding Stand and it looked like Torres overhead kick went in off the bar we were like wtf when Neil announced Lamps as the goalscorer. Romeu was very sloopy at times, he deserves more critism than Luiz for today i think. All in all not a worldclass performance but it wasnt that bad, we should have had 3 penalties in 5 minutes so what the fuck O Neil was going on about claiming Sunderland should have had a penalty (which they should have) when his side got away with 3 in quick succesion (one of which Nino got booked for). Well earned 3 points Sunderland didnt create that much and Spuds and Scousers drawing made it even better.
  21. A west london derby not to tv, smh
  22. If we cast our mind back to the summer of 2004 we did start the summer with a lot of ageing players in the squad. Desailly, Hasselbaink, Melchiot, Petit, Stanic, Gronkjear, Zenden, Sullivan and Ambrosio. They all left at that summer and were replaced by young, hungry talents like Carvalho, Drogba, Ferreira, Tiago, Kezman, Robben and Cech. All of a sudden we had a hungry young driven squad with only Claude Makele and Carlo Cudicini over the age of 30. That window alone shaped us up for success in the 6 years following which got us 7 domestic trophy's and the 2 transfer window's of 2012 and how we spend and sell is going to be vital for our future success aswell IMO, even more so with it being one of the last windows before FFP restrictions are fully in force. Like that summer we need a similar clearout of the ageing players no matter how good they have been in the past. Who i believe needs to be gone by the end of August. Aswell as already gone Anelka and nearly gone Alex. Hilario - Never plays and takes valuble space for a over 21 foreign player. Ferreira - I appreciate his service to the club but he is a passenger these days and we cant keep carrying them forever. Bosingwa - Enough said. Malouda - Just isnt needed anymore. Lampard - IF he isn't prepared to accept a lesser role and toe in line with the new era. No one is bigger than the club. Kalou - I appreciate his efforts but its time for both parties to move on. Drogba - Torres or any forward will never settle with Drogba breathing down their necks, Drogs is a legend but at 34 we arent going to get that much out of him now. AVB will need to get it right in terms of who to bring in aswell, hopefully McEachran will come back from Swansea like a new signing and we sign the right players that fit into his system. This time tho we need to follow on every summer and make a subtle change or 2 to the playing staff every summer so we don't get into the problem of stagnating in another 6 years time. To cut a long story short the next 2 window's will shape us up for years to come, if we go into our first match in September with Kalou-Drogba-Malouda as our front 3 then panic
