My biggest fear right now is us sacking AVB, Jose returning and it not having the desired effect while AVB is at Inter, Madrid or god for bid City replicating his Porto success. Makes me nervous thinking about it.

The creativity has been shit but i still think Falcao would still have got goals regardless, he's confidence is sky high and he would just poach goals, Kalou got 11 last season without the creativity behind him and he is regarded by most as the worst player we have. Thing is with Nando, ive seen him in position's running against the last defender and thinking 4 years ago he would have ran past him and been through on goal, last season he played for Liverpool against Arsenal and he tried to run past Koscielnly and get through on goal but he (Kos) caught up with him and got the ball, if that was the 2007-2009 Torres, Koscielny would not have stood a chance and been made to look silly. The creative side of our team is a problem but Torres don't half contribute to his own downfall, where-as Falcao would have took any chance he got, even if they did come sparingly.

He looked pretty good against Levekusen and Fulham early in the season.

So true, personally i think had we signed Falcao or Drogba regained his 09/10 form and was scoring to nearly a rate of 1 a game then Danny probably would not have batted a eyelid but the fact its Torres and Drogba who have both been pants for most of the season.

Malouda was playing well at the start too, is it surprising? They always do that, play well under a new manager then fade back to old habits, thats why AVB cant get judged till most of them have done one.

What will it take to convince it is the past it players that are the problem not AVB? Is it going to take Hiddink or Jose returning and struggling with this squad. The fact is since the moment we touched down in London from Moscow we should have looked at signing young players to eventully replace the oldies, a 21 year old David Luiz was on the market in 2008 (or was that 2007?), would have saved us millions, who idea was it to sign Deco over a young, hungry Modric? The clear fact is back in 2008, we were only 2nd in europe behind a Ronaldo inspired United, we were better than Barca and Madrid back then ffs, we should have strengthened when we were on top for all these years and we would probally be just as good as Madrid right not if not better. Now we all knew the situation when AVB came in, best case scanereo he turned out to be a breath of fresh air and we did a Porto, worst case is not far off what has actually happened, we only have our self's and the board to blame for not building on the squad when we were one of the if not the best team in europe between 2004-2008. Now were paying the price for not adding and strengthening when we were one of the best in Europe and have been paying for it since 2008 excluding the double season but even if that season it was not all not garden and roses and we had some shocking games (West Ham, Blackburn, Spurs, Villa away, Inter home). Infact the double probably delayed a over-haul, talk about short term gain for long term pain. This season it can be argued we have taken a step back in terms of displays but while doing it we have signed players who will play a big part in the future, were just have to bite the bullet while this new team gets prudently built bit by bit and if we do end up up there amoungst the best in Europe again, ADD WHEN WERE ON TOP to avoid this happening again. We have got some problems right now but AVB is amoung the least of our problems right now and what will it take for everyone to realize it? Will it take Jose and Hiddink returning and struggling just as much?

Courtious, De Bruyne, Bruma, McEachran and Kalas. If those loans go to plan, thats potentially millions we have saved in transfer fee's.
-
What will happen if we sack him now? Back to square one, Malouda and co given "another chance" and so on then before we know its 2021 and a 42 year old Malouda is starting our opening game against Man.utd. Remember Barcelona went 7 trophy less season out of 9 while building the team we see today.
-
All would have been worth winners but this one for Peace is long overdue, he's been as active as anyone for as long as i can remember.
-
I dont think he has been THAT bad, our only problem is Mikel's below par displays at the start (especially against Arsenal) and Romeu coming in and making an instant impact had led us to believe he is some sort off superman is why it's led to believe he's been crap. He's been ok, he just isnt Makele yet.

I could just imagine now Levy unveiling Big Sam in the next game at White Hart Lane. Spurs fans expect Hiddink or Jose and out comes Big Sam TA DA
-
Looking at the FA im starting to think we actually don't have it too bad with Gourlay after all
-
Can i change my name ? i want to change it, only joking just wanted to panic you all
-
Romeu should have been introduced the second Rooney scored the first penalty.
-
If there is one thing AVB has done PERFECTLY it's end the Everton jinx.
-
Bosingwa or Bertrand?
-
I dont think creating chances is the problem its more taking them. We created numerous chances against Norwich and against Sunderland if we took our chances (and so did they) there could have quite easily been a repeat of the 7-2 2 years ago, even against Fulham at christmas we were only denied by the Stockdale super show, last season we weren't even creating the chances.
-
United fans think they will walk over Bertrand if he starts. All im going to say is they could be in for a very nasty suprise.
-
Young has already has his anual one good game a season against Arsenal, i will be delighted if he starts ahead of Nani or Valencia
-
The most funny thing if they do this is who will the captiancy go to? A player who was up in court for assaulting a DJ not so long ago and has had the country listen to him shout obsesneties at Roberto Mancini or one who skipped a drug test. Nothing like a bit of FA double standards.

You forgot to use the word fans loosely and with inverted comma's

Even without the fiancial cost there is still now way in hell we can sack AVB. We have our core of young, hungry players who are a while away from their peak and have everything to prove. DL4, Rami, Romeu, Danny, Mata we could even add Ivanovic and to a lesser extent Cahill and Bertrand add to that list also add the young talent we have out of loan, the only problem is they are being "suffocated" by the players who are either past their peak, lost their hunger or cant be assed, we need to let the well fed "superstars" go to let those guys spread the wings and establish themself. remember how Ronaldo and Rooney shot to talents to world class players once Keane and Van Nisseroy left United? Same with Barca, Iniesta and Messi only truly started to show us what they were about once Deco and Ronaldinho departed. Real is another example with Raul and Guti, club legend's but Real put the good of their progression ahead of sentiment something we need to do this summer. We let the big ego's leave this summer and getother young, hungry players in then i feel we will start seeing what David Luiz and Juan Mata especially (others aswell) are truly about.
-
I do think AVB has on the whole got it right with the youth players. Apart from Ryan Bertrand who should be playing more, if he somehow comes in and produces a MOTM display but Cole comes back at Goodison Park a week later i will rerrange my room until i cant move in it.

@Seb We are all frustrated by Malouda because we know just how effective he is on top form and if he put as much as half the effort say Kalou does he would be sensatinol.
