it used to be "Let`s all do the Seaman" after he got beat from miles out in the almost last second of extra time in the `99 European cup winners cup final for Arsanal..against former sp*rs player Nayim for Real Zaragoza. next game up after that defeat for them we played them and we sung that to him ,with flailling arms etc...sadly he ended up doing it again for England against Brazil.
-
as pretty much all have said..we need a blend of steel and creativity..if we went all out flair and took away our hard edge completely we would become like Arsanal. we shouldn`t completely follow the blue print of any team anyway..not even the all conquering Barcelona! to be the best we can by all means use some of what they do,but will have to add something else to become better than them,if we just copy them we will always be behind them. good topic to bring up for discussion tho Sam..a whole lot more worthwhile than getting involved in some of these wild never gonna happen anyway, transfer speculation from those never heard of before websites.

SSN reporting PSG have offered £13.5m for him.

well i reckon on her nationality we can call that a Tie as she`s Russian born and her name is Tatiana.. yep retired (or atleast played her last game) at 20. shame it wasn`t to enter porn really...
-
i wouldn`t mind getting him at the right price..would add some much needed flair..only turned 24 earlier this week and his girlfriend is yet another hot russian tennis player... wouldn`t mind bumping into her at the bridge...

the only way i can see signing either of those two making sense are the following 1.Alex may be on his way out.due to his recent history of injuries, not talent based..Ivanovic is to remain a RB. which would only leave JT and Luiz as CB`s 2.although i am in no way gonna say Andre is the same as Jose. i think it`s fair to say that Andre and Jose are gonna have some things in common, having worked so closely together for so long....for those who recall when Jose first arrived he did state that every club should have a core of players from the same country that they play in and he did back up those words by adding English players throughout his time here..even tho there was a core of English already with us in JT.Lampard,Bridge,Parker,Joe Cole and Glen Johnson..he added over his years with us SWP,Sidwell,Ashley and had before the U-turn pretty much signed Gerrard too. maybe this is Andre looking at the core of English players who are all apart from Josh in the twilight years of their career and it could be a step to top up the English core before JT,Lampard and Ash are gone and we start looking like Arsenal.

it`s clear that they are fabricating the truth to get as much as they can..i hope Roman will call their bluff, put an offer on the table of say £30-35m and tell them that is the final offer. you have 7 days to take it or leave it,once that 7 day period has passed without being accepted it will be withdrawn.

at the start of August if we still haven`t signed someone for the 1st team squad, then i won`t be so calm.
-
because he has shown himself capable in a few positions FB,CB,DM..i hope that he isn`t used as a utility player but is given one position to be groomed into properly..i think that was something we should have done with Cork and Mancienne..but we have hopefully learnt from that mistake. i would say that position should be CB but then that would probably mean that he would have to be patient and wait perhaps a year or two. as for me the hardest positions for a young player to take the leap into the pros in is CB and DM. i guess he could see some action in the LC,as a sub..a few minutes here and there against lesser teams.... with us being able to name 7 subs these days i don`t see why we couldn`t use say atleast two of those sports with our young ,yet to be established players..Josh would take one spot but the other one could be used by one from a list of a few...mainly being Billy Clifford,Kakuta,Conor Clifford,Chalobah,Lalkovic.. (i`m counting Sturridge as an established player)

cheers for the work you have done for us today guys,in getting it back up. so it was the Indonesian hacking team responsible this time...strange times we live in.
-
although i didn`t want him, especially at the price..i`m pretty sure that by the time we play Man U in game 5 or 6 of the upcoming season..he will be back to his best. it will depend on us getting better service to him,but i believe AVB will sort that out for him and the other strikers.

Official - AVB confirmed as Chelsea boss
Duppy Conqueror replied to a topic in Matthew Harding Stand
he will know the players strengths and weaknesses already, atleast the regular 1st team players. but i think it`s more a case of talking to them one to one and checking the players mindset for the way forward,to see if they are willing to fight for their places, play in the new system etc.. i don`t believe it will be a case of them having a trial on a pitch in Cobham to see if they are still good enough. he will have plenty of time before the 6th to watch plenty of game footage from last year to evaluate their play. the names you mentioned may very well leave but he may want to tell them face to face rather than through the media. all that said..it would not surprise me atall if it`s a smoke screen and we end up buying somebody before the 6th. -
well that is the end of that then...and Fibreglass will stay at Arsenal.

Sergio Aguero joins the other Manchester club
Duppy Conqueror replied to .Cee's topic in Transfer Archives
AVB likes to play a 4-3-3 but with the front 3 consisting of 1 main striker,1 out wide and 1 tucked in closer. Aguero could fit that last role..but there`s other options about there too. -
Sergio Aguero joins the other Manchester club

i guess he`s just one of those guys who likes to parade around in public in pink. -
the pieces will fall into place. the club may not be willing to inform us as that would mean they would be informing the football world of their intentions but that is not to say that they don`t have something already in the pipe line.
-
whoever their replacements should be..i hope they have a better mentality when the chips are down. Malouda,Anelka,Drogba..all fantastic players when their heads are screwed on straight but they lose their heads more times than Worzel Gummidge.and are all completely useless to us at such times. i`ve grown really tired of those type of players..they all over 30 too so it can`t be a teenage hormones thing..
-
either that is bullshit or the Porto owner/chairman was talking bullshit when he said he would only let players go if the release clause was met..which in Hulk`s case is something like £91m. which i guess could be bullshit too. i guess we will just have to wait and see but if the article is true then i wouldn`t mind Roman splashing 36m on Hulk. ideally it would be for less but in todays market there`s been bigger rip offs.

could it be that Anderson just isn`t good enough to justify playing more games? i hate having to defend Man U but i just don`t see the point in denying something they do well and better than us because i would just sound like a typical liverpool fan. we sometimes give youth and young players we sign a chance. but they do it multiple times every season...if we had signed Hernandez he would have been sent out on loan multiple times before he had a sniff of first team action,if atall. and that is just one example. maybe under AVB that will change,i really hope it does..but for any player looking at how each team gives a young player chances it is so obvious who has the better track record that i feel like i`m being patronizing in saying it here.

can`t fault your effort mate but my opinion on him remains the same. he chose a backward step so he could have 5k a week more in cash,.when he could have saved that in house insurance if he stayed at the club he supposedly loved as much as anyone, the club who made him a millionaire and gave him the medals that he wouldn`t have won at West Ham and won`t at Liverpool. Ballack the German who hadn`t probably heard of Chelsea when he was growing up,showed himself to be more loyal than the guy who was a Chelsea season ticket holder when he was.
-
pure quality striker, any football fan that would try to rubbish that fact would instantly lose my respect for their opinion. and yes at 30 he still has it..but no thanks. if Carlo was still here he`d probably say he has yet to reach his peak and has years left, but not with a forward thinking manager at the helm now. you don`t add old parts to a new machine and that is what Eto`o would be.
-
can`t bring myself to watch it..would be like watching a home video of me in happier times with someone who i loved deeply, but turned out to be a cheating whore.
-
they were all class acts.they all had their brilliant moments for us even if they didn`t quite live upto the expectations of the majority..we could have done with all of them last season.. Ballack wasn`t the everything runs through him playmaker that we probably all expected him to be (as with Deco) but he still was a great player for us..he changed his game to help the team and in some aspects of his game, played his best stuff with us..by that i mean discipline, improved his defensive work etc..he will probably rank as one of the unluckiest players of all time, the amount of semi-finals and finals he lost in for both his clubs and country.most of which were lost unfairly. however although their departures probably was the biggest factor in us not retaining our title last season..i see their departures as a "one step backwards to take two steps forward" move. who knows if Ballack and Deco hadn`t left Josh might have been loaned out to a bad team for him and could have had his career derailed. he wouldn`t have got the game time with us last season and wouldn`t be set to have a bigger role in this upcoming season. plus we probably wouldn`t have got our hands on AVB and the cracks in our squad would have been papered over for yet another year. i do miss them tho yes.

the two major runnings we have had with them..they started both fights and then squealed about it when we fought back each time..1st on the field in the 1966 World cup. 2.the Falklands War in 1982. i think what my grandad used to say about the Italians rings true for a lot of Argentinians..."they are the bravest people in the world...when they are the only ones carrying the weapons" Ernesto "Che" Guevara had some balls tho fair play and the Rugby guys who survived the plane crash on the Andes, spending something like 70 days in the snow by eating the dead. gotta respect that.. so to sum it up..yes there are low lives in Argentina..as there is in every country,in yours,in mine in everybodies. i do agree tho that Argentinian football fans in general are a bunch of scumbags.
