it used to be a policy of Chelsea among many other teams not to let loaned out players play against their parent club,the F.A then made it into a ruling for all English teams. i`m not sure how it applies to English clubs in europe but i guess it`s the same..it is a good thing i think. say we signed DeBruyne,loaned him back to Genk. Chelsea plays Genk,the score is level and he scores an own goal that wins the game for Chelsea..he`d probably get lots of shit for that and probably be accused by some of doing it on purpose. it`s to avoid things like that happening that they do it for every team in England now.

it`s cool that you kinda knew him through a friend of a friend. Albert did play for Spain tho 36 times (his career ended in `99 ,a year after we signed him) and played in two world cups. something possibly not that well known at Chelsea is that Albert is a Gold medal Olympian winning it with the Spanish national team in 1992 in his hometown. .

i think it`s fair to say AVB knows him and his own vision for Chelsea better than any of us, so i hope he gets him.
