  1. he should understand that once he joins bayern he only has 3 ways of leaving . Bayern no longer wanting him,he sees out his contract and refuses to sign a new one or he retires. Bayern Don't listen to transfer requests. if I was a pro and wanted to stay in Germany I'd stay with Dortmund be treated like a football god by fans and management who appreciate winners but Don't demand it every year and become a legend there not just another face in a long line of winners..also being able to leave when I want.
  2. Hope this means a serious push for De Rossi.he may be 30 by the time the next season starts but so was Makalele and Zola who both gave us some great years. I wouldn't complain if we paid up to 20m for him as along with a great finisher our team would win a lot trophies in the next 3 or 4 years. as for Oriel a loan away for a season is probably the best for us and him.
  3. Getting Shurrle wouldn't mean just having better depth at LW .I see him as being a young version of old Anelka in that he can play Left Wing,Right WIng,2nd striker, centre forward.he would fit in the team in many positions and formations and allow us offload a few players on our depth chart that just are not good enough to start for us....mainly demba ba,Marin,Kakuta..
  4. Great to have Jose back...it`s been a long time coming. can`t wait to be able to gaze at him in awe from the stands and my serious man-crush again is re-ignited.. be interesting to see how he improves our squad by mostly the players already here and then the odd players he helps bring in. happy days again.
  5. I`m rarely ever around during the season..between work and touring with Chelsea etc..summer will soon come round then i`ll be on most days again..well..between the Ashes..
  6. Dortmund v Malaga was an Epic second half..glad Dortmund won, have been rooting for them since we`ve been out..Hard on Malaga, that last goal, but so was Malagas last goal.. Sweaty sock officials had a mare..
  7. they were like the Swiss army when we put 5 past them at their place back in the day..
  8. yeah Bran is up there with Ashley in the consistently dependable list. i thought that during the game gutted about the result but equally for him. Swansea are a good side as much as i hate the jack bastards. however,if we turn it on at the Liberty stadium i still believe we can get to the final.regardless of how pumped up they are to get to their first major domestic cup final in nearly 50 years. gotta start Ba upfront in that one!
  9. he`s Wise II pretty much . Wise done the same before him with everyone, including JT when he was a kid. disappointed by the comments regarding Marcel could be alot of reasons for that..e.g. experienced superstar player, thinks he`s above others who aren`t,doesn`t want youngsters to succeed too quickly as scared of losing his place to one so sees them as the enemy.etc.. there`s more reasons i can think of too but be best to leave it at he just wasn`t a JT/Wise style of captain.
  10. JT has two years left on his contract anyway. so regardless of this whole incident,he would have/will be offered a 1 year deal at most 2 years. at some point all the knocks he`s taken for the club and England will become too much for him to continue to play with. the broken ribs for example will give him some pain for the rest of his life. i broke a few of my brother in laws ribs when i was younger. he had to quit his job as a night club bouncer after that and 18 years on i still catch him wincing when he bends over to pick something up off the floor. ribs don`t fully heal as such, they don`t put them in a cast anymore like they used to in the past because that can cause complications. i`d retire at the end of this deal if i was him. i`d be shocked if he ever played anywhere else.
  11. i wasn`t aware he had been subject to racial abuse. although i don`t use twitter. not surprised he has been playing great despite of it tho,he is a very strong young man mentally, even more so than physically, that showed when he could still play after his father had been abducted back in Nigeria. gotta love Rami ..i worried about where we could play him.despite him being so huge for us last season it looked like he was the odd man out at the start of the season but he`s adapted now ,he`s set to remain a great part of our success. Cech`s save in the last few minutes when we were only 3-2 up was crucial too.great save from the big man! i`ve had a week or so where to be honest i`ve been fed up with football with all the off the field stuff..the disgraceful treatment of Danny Rose and our U21`s in Serbia. the ongoing stuff with JT. i saw the aggro in the Leeds v Sheff Weds game last night and i was really down last night thinking i wish i could just walk away from football and love something else now. but today reminded me why i keep going. today i saw the beautiful game smiling again.
  12. Just got back now..partied heartily. what a game. it was worth going 2-1 down and discovering that Tottenham fans were there too just to see the way we responded. Mata sensational. plenty of players had great games but Mata had one of the best performances i`ve seen in 30 years of watching the Chels. us naughty boys in the corner destroyed them with our vocal chords and our boys on the field struck like Cobras. so pleased Mata was overlooked by the Spanish national side..he got the rest he needed and what a way to come back from it! 2nd on my all time favorite trips to WHL only to the 6-1 win there with Flo`s hatrick!
  13. i used to go out with a Pauline i`m glad to say she wasn`t a ho tho or that would be too weird..it still tickles me when i hear Nanny/Nani`s name in commentary e.g "Nani has taken a heavy fall " i automatically think oh she`s gonna need a new hip now..lol i know i`m a 36 year old teenager.
  14. great idea, great person to do it.,you can entertain a kid for hours by just pulling funny faces and Dave makes even me laugh sometimes with his funny goofy ways,is only when they go through the "Kevin & Perry phase" they can be hard work with but that`s often with parents, some teachers if they sense a weakness,be cool to others not so close to them tho..not all teenagers are bad of course but i think even nice kids go through phases. i was a lil cunt by my own admission to be honest. imagine how blown away those kids would be by just watching him with a ball teaching them all his magical skills..i grew up in the same street as a lad who was playing for Luton Town when they were a good side in the old top flight before the premiership in the mid to late 80`s,winning the Milk Cup..he was only a young player on the fringes of the 1st team and never became a regular but i thought this lad was insanely skillfull when playing him in the street,i can`t imagine what seeing someone like Luiz at close hand would have been like for me when i was say 12 and thought the sun shone out of Colin Pates` arse! haha
  15. depending on where in Scotland he lives it`s quicker to get a flight from say the east coast of the United States to the bridge than it is to travel from Scotland on public transport. to go to West London from Wick, up at the top of Scotland is a 12-14 hour train ride for example.
  16. Happy one year closer to death day Jim. many happy healthy returns. thanks for the work you do behind the scenes in keeping a site that CFC themselves should be proud of, running as smoothly as humanly possible. hope you have a great day!
  17. i don`t think i would...being a football manager is not a 5 minutes a day job. to be good in management without it burning you out you need to learn to switch off from whatever it is you are trying to manage. i`ve never been a coach or a manager but i`ve been a leader of men in other walks of life.
  18. it`s a mystery for me too but it may be nothing sinister and Roberto just wanting to go easy on him..he hasn`t been at full strength for a few months as far as i can see..yes he`s played some decent games for England but lil cameos against international teams whom with all due respect to them if they were club sides with the exact same players they wouldn`t be a premiership side. it seems like you either get branded a player lover or a player hater. but for me i`d rather stay out of all that and say..he has great potential,he is a good young player,he is improving,...i`m not gonna make any predictions on how good he can be,it`s upto him really..i have been more impressed with his right foot in recent times..it was unbelievable to me how so badly one footed he was and despite Man City having what from the outside looks a pretty good youth set up,they have failed him by not being able to help him work on that right foot more at an earlier age. hopefully he will be 100% fit and healthy sometime soon and he can work himself into more playing minutes
  19. that would be about 27 players by my calculations..i think they have already done that..
  20. quite a few ot those are out on loan out of the under 21`s ,so it`s a tad misleading.. lot`s of quality on the books at the club tho. i`m sure more than 10% will make it tho Artinho, more than that already have..
  21. welcome. i`d get tickets for any game you can if i was you. as for the big games it`s hard to get tickets unless you have a season ticket or are a true blue member. i`m a season ticket holder but where as i used to be able to get tickets for others in the 80`s and 90`s it`s alot more difficult now. the Matthew Harding stand lower and Shed end lower is usually the best place to sit for atmosphere, although other places step up their game and can match them sometimes, you can rely on those parts of the ground to be up for it at any game. that is where the hardcore go. you would be lucky to get a ticket in those areas tho. although for viewing the game you are better off getting higher up if you want to have a good view of the entire pitch. around the middle of the east upper is the best place i`d say for this.although in 31 years of going i can`t remember ever being in the west stand so can`t say much about that. if you get a seat in the east upper towards the back of the stand on the side near the MHS then you may not be able to see whose taking the corner kicks on the far side near the shed end on your flank of the pitch, but that`s the only restricted viewing i`ve had at the bridge that is the seatings fault. there`s always the chance of having some mammoth of a man being infront of you ofcourse or a giant flag being passed around etc..but that doesn`t tend to happen so much in the East upper.
  22. i would have took Lewandowski in a heartbeat this summer once Lukaku`s loan had been agreed... i`ll reserve judgement till the next transfer window on if we should sign him then or not.or any other striker for that matter..if we had to decide today,i`d say we should sign no CF in the winter window, but we`ll see when it comes..lots can change in the time between now and then.
  23. Samsung takin` us for a ride` .we should have stuck with Bai Lin Tea!
  24. we have all seen him play better games last season than we have this..he`s clearly to me not at his best at the moment. that may or may not be related to the jaw injury that made him miss the Euro`s. not only the time missed but some jaw injuries can effect your balance. a slightly dislocated jaw totally derailed the career of Paul Hughes after it lead to so many other injuries before it was discovered. i know the medical staff are aware of Gary`s jaw injury but even now he`s been cleared to play it still may have a negative effect on his current play. he`ll be back to his best and maybe even better before too long tho i`m sure.
