The players at big wage paying clubs live in luxury no doubt. I know there's far worser places for players to live but can understand some preferring their luxury home in other places.especially those who like being outdoors in the sunshine.Monaco for example. Hernan Crespo was a great player we signed and never let us down on the field but he wasn't suited for London life.so even when the player is classy if they Don't want to live in London or England it's better if they Don't come. I did think Mata wouldn't be suited to live and love London for many reasons but so far so good.

Whilst I'm not worried about these clubs it's because of other reasons. Those clubs are capable of getting players we also target,there should be no doubting that really. But I'm not worried because at the end of the day they join these clubs who play in lesser leagues and to me those who choose to do that are either going for money over competition or going because they prefer to live elsewhere and the last thing we need is players who take slightly more money over more competitive football and/or Don't want to embrace living in London or England in general. I can understand people wanting to live elsewhere.I love my hometown but Don't think it's the best place in the world to live.certainly at present anyway.

It depends on what bag of formations and systems Jose is gonna have us play…I say bag as there is no way he's gonna use just one but at this point there's no way of knowing. I see a lot of fans presuming what formation he is gonna play and presuming he is gonna be getting our players to play the same way that other managers have played in recent years. Demba Ba was a cheap by our standards safe punt,made knowing that he could easily enough be sold on for the price we paid or even make a profit on him. He is certainly replaceable if Jose doesn't want him. I Don't want to talk about Torres,but the sacrificing the title to try and salvage his career got old a long time ago.fuck his wages...it's costing us more to play him…if there's a will there's a way to get rid. With that in mind I would personally like us to get in two reasonably priced strikers instead of one..but one of those would need to be able to play more than just be a pure striker. Something like Jovetic and Soldado(or another reasonably priced pure finisher) I would have like Lewandowski last season (as much as I do now) but when I suggested it here last year,lots put down that he wasn't proven enough.well now he is but we can't have him. It's always better to get a player a year early than a year too late as much as it's better to sell a player a year too early than a year too late.

Ballack was around 29 too..De Rossi is my favourite non- Chelsea player much like Ballack was also.would love us to sign him. Only downside for me is I presume him being Italian means he doesn't speak English...might hinder his play until he learns some due to the position he plays.tho may not be too much of a problem..

Nothing really to do with the transfer but I signed him on fifa.he helped us win back to back league titles and one European cup then got homesick and started sulking so I sold him to Juventus for 8m in the winter window of his 3rd season. I'd take that from him in real life as it would be the sort of impact I think him capable of.

A lot of the big clubs in mainland Europe have been doing that for years,decades.we are just one of the few English clubs to be doing so. financial fair play was not something that bothered Platini when he was a player,getting rich and being surrounded by bought in footballers when the Italian clubs were the rich ones. But he hates everything that is English and thought it was a way to bring us down...he failed. There's a way he could bring down top English clubs at least for the next few years but he's not smart enough to see it.

As for Van Ginkel,I think he's good enough to be a rotated matchday squad member already.I wouldn't rule a 1 season loan out to help him make the Dutch world cup squad if he's worried too much about that but for us personally I Don't think every young player needs to be loaned out.sometimes being developed by our own coaching staff even with less games is better than being coached elsewhere,where they aren't being coached and developed with our club in mind.

I'm a fan of Chelsea football club.I Don't give a fuck about the Belgian ,Dutch,Brazilian or any other national squad,I Don't give a fuck about how many games an individual squad member gets.I've seen approximately 300 players playing for Chelsea,they come and they go but Chelsea is an endless love. I only care about what they offer for the good of Chelsea football club. For anyone concerned about how many games their personal favourite will get.you are not showing much faith in their ability,players will be rotated during a 60plus game season and those who are worthy enough will get enough games.

He's won a few Italian cups with Roma and a World cup with Italy. He would obviously want more trophies as would any top player.

I'd prefer us to look at a cheaper veteran.think it would be better for Ruddy to go where he can be a regular starter too. He is a good keeper tho.

I'm starting to wonder if we are planning to play with a back 3 in the future with the number of centerbacks we have already got on our books and still reportedly chasing more.

I take Jose saying that certain players being in his plans as just he wants to keep them in his squad..not that they will be promised lots of starts. I also see him having us play at least 3 different formations during the season,sometimes during the same game.he's not a rigid set in his ways coach. Players will grow and become multi-faceted smart tactical players under his guidance.

Yeah I agree there should be official streaming allowed like Hutcho suggested earlier.it would raise lots of money for the clubs and would make Platini come up with something else other than FFP to screw the English clubs over.it would also help the FA to invest more into grass roots football and allow those who for whatever reason can't go to games,contribute more to their football club than just buying jerseys.

Don't bother me..I've been at around 95% of Chelsea games for the last 32 years and will continue to do so..so there..

He's a free transfer but he won't play for free. I think we'd be better off getting someone in we actually need and if we want some extra depth then either promote from within or get someone who would command a lower salary...if winning trophies and energy sapping pre-season tours every other year is not enough to satisfy the Asian market then screw the Asian market. with all due respect.

Be interesting to see how he does against an attack containing Cavani,Forlan and Suarez tonight..(not that he's the only defender of course)

I did think by the title it was gonna be a question to us who we hated the most then had to drag my index away from T for Tottenham When I read the first post.

The game in a nutshell..two moments of brilliance from Neymar. Solid defending by Luiz. the rest of the game very forgettable. I'm still fine with us not signing Neymar. it's fine him doing good things in a stadium where everybody loves him but Don't think he'd turn out any better than Robinho did in English football.
