poor Ajax are fooked in their group..City,Dortmund,Real..in a keegan voice "i would love it i say love it if Dortmund and Ajax went through"
-
it`s not the early 70`s mate Derby didn`t qualify..
-
ah we`ve got the old moustached lady. damn hope it`s the last away game so i might be able to make a night in Turin. i`m fine with getting them tho..it`s not the `85 Juve team or `94 or whatever year it was when they last won it.
-
so far,not bad for us. decent side. but we are talking the group stages of CL..ooh did they shout at Ruudy like he`s a naughty boy then..cheeky cunts.
-
i`d feel extra confident this season if we had an extra CF, doesn`t have to be Remy, i`d be fine with anyone who can do a decent job if needed , but i can live with what we got as things are and think we would win some silverware. tho not sure which ones.

Danny boy selected for the England squad along with Bertrand. for the opening World Cup qualifiers.
-
mad that he played in an 11pm kick off tho hey.. the moths and other shit must have been flying that night in the stadium. as for West Ham.. apart from not helping them,in a way apart from having to live in the manky part of town. it wouldn't be that bad an idea,as he`d get plenty of action over there with them fighting relegation,if they survive this year that is.. tho like i said, better for him to join Fulham.
-
Fulham could do with a him for a season next year (they could this year actually, but not gonna happen with him starring in Madrid) and it would help him settle into the area...i would have said so do West Ham on the other side of town but a year over there may scare him for life..
-
yep they don't play for sure, tho with the size of the Indian population they may think against it..those shop owners may get a visit off Mosad tho and then suddenly the shop is vacated in the night.
-
@Ollie i had Dembele for that price. can`t remember if i kept him or not tho,i made a few switches after week 1.. i`ve already used the "wildcard" option.
-
cheers, the last time i played Fantasy Football before this season was in the newspaper and Glen Hoddle was our manager. just wait till i get my match fitness back. i don`t think i`ll be top after this weekend tho. it`s gonna be a marathon not a sprint tho of course.. i only picked Branislav over Cole because he`s more of a goal threat..i wanted to stay away from the other CB`s because it`s too up in the air who will play and Luiz has clearly been told to stay back more now. Hazard and Torres i think should carry on picking up points each week even if they have lil dips in form. when i saw that Michu is classed as a midfielder i had to have him,i expect him to be Swansea`s top scorer and within the top 10-15 for all the Prem when the season is done.
-
i might get knocked off the top spot after this weekend without Ivanovic,Hazard and Torres not playing in the Prem. not only been doing well for the Chels..have been my main 3 points getters so far for the Hatchets, Still..manager of the month award for August to meeee..

talks about arrogant behaviour of other clubs then says that he doesn`t deserve their city,or to wear their jersey. hmmm..i think i understand why Mutu liked it there. bunch of arrogant coke heads!. 2006 Italian football scandal anyone..it wasn`t only Juve. they were found guilty in it too, just not relegated for it (had alot of points deducted instead) i know things are tight in italy with finances, tho how they blow so much money is a mystery to me but i`m sure they can be refunded the air-fare from Manchester to Florence by Berbatov.no need to bitch about it in the press.
-
it was revenge on Barcelona because we stopped them winning a tournament which in their currently deluded lil heads is just a victory parade for them. if we had lost the final then the ghost of moscow would live on and have become a bigger beast but i don`t think Barcelona fans could feel like they were back ontop again if Bayern beat us. it would mean that they couldn`t beat the runners up.

it`s supposed to be an ancient hindu symbol but that excuse doesn`t really hold up when it`s attached to the name Hitler..

i reckon he done it to wind up the jewish community there. hats off to them for not burning it to the ground, probably not wanting to be classed as racist themselves i guess.

Last month it was myself ,Manpe,Hutcho and Ryan Davidson (along with others) 4 members who as far as i know had never been nominated before. some of us not even 1 vote or mention. none of us made it this month. interestingly tho in light of what you say now,out of the nominations this month you voted for the only member who was in last months nominations. -

i can remember him being linked to a move to England a couple of years back, then there came out rumours of a possible problem with his heart..does anyone know anything about that?

we`ve come along way sing the days of Pong on the Atari. some good ,some bad but i`m glad i grew up in a generation before the internet and things like social networks..it`s ironic really that social networks prevent people from actually socializing. i don`t envy kids born after the internet came about atall, don`t get me wrong we had plenty of inventions in the gadget world in the 80`s,possibly more.certainly more varied. but i think the balance was alot more healthier..we used our gadgets mostly when we couldn`t go outside and play sports or physical games with our friends. also i think we had to use our imaginations more and that was good for us. my nieces have all these so called great things to use at their disposal but they are often saying they are bored,i can`t remember ever being bored in my entire life. i tell them that a ball,a stick and a bicycle were the best things i had as a kid and they just can`t comprehend it. of the things we (as in the human race) invented i wouldn`t say the internet ranks that highly for me personally but for others it`s probably the best thing . apart from here i really don`t use the internet that much atall. aout 90 % of my time is on here and as folks have probably noticed in two years i`ve not been on here that often.

i usually look at these with the only thought in mind that we have good away days in it. but at present i can`t leave the country as my mother is having a very important operation soon and i`m gonna continue to be her home help for some time just yet so won`t be able to travel in europe again until the knockout stages. i`m open to who we draw this time, just don`t want to be drawn into a "group of death"

ah thanks for explaining where the boilermakers name comes from..i had thought it was because the college had quite literally created boilers in the past as in the boilers used in old fashioned heating systems ..i know..i bow my head in shame.. the Astronauts and Cosmonauts no doubt knew they could die on these missions but i guess just not in how many ways it was possible.the race was on under the cold war pressures and corners were undoubtably cut by both sides. glad that the race is now over even though it must have been incredibly exciting during those times.i like the humans from all over the world working together now, formula of doing things. i have a keen interest and admiration for all forms of explorers..there`s something in the not really knowing if they`ll ever get back home again but going out there anyway. for me personally i`m not scared of death atall, just of dying without leaving my mark and being forgotten as soon as i`m gone, in that regard i think me and all the great explorers share something. although when i had a family i didn`t think like that so much,i wanted my family to be proud of me but not so much at the risk of my life,so can`t really relate to those that take such risks when they have kids and a wife/husband who need them around in their lives. -
