we need to sign another CF more than sell one . I`m not reading too much into Sturridge not playing so much yet under RDM. last season at the end he wasn`t in good form ,others was and this summer he had meningitis before going to the Olympics drained of strength from it. maybe RDM wants to give him the break and rest he should have had after the illness. i know Mata is due a rest too but that`s for discussion on his thread really.

not sure which side that is taken from but where the camera man/woman is may be the away end and the away seats is up across the field parallel with it.well it was about 18 years ago..the seats in the away end were unpainted metal..bloody freezing on a tuesday night in December. i`d go in the terrace next time,was standing up most of the time anyway to try and warm up.

no, i think it`s F.A rules these days that players can`t play against their parent club. with uefa i think they leave it up to the parent club to grant permission or not..

why carlisle ? i`d like that too.it`s one of my favorite places up north. . i like Carlisle it`s a nice place. some interesting places to visit like the barracks where they have the only white metal victoria cross in it and the "licking room" is creepy but interesting. also the people are very friendly up there, have been up there with one of my old army buddies who was welsh to watch Cardiff play up there,we were drinking in their supporters bar before and after the match even tho Cardiff beat them and they treated us like we were one of them and it`s so far away it`s a proper away day,the cathedral is an interesting place to with the womans face painted up in the ceiling that you can`t see with the naked eye but if you look through a mirror you can find her. they also do a cracking full english about 200 yards from the cathedral. which always come in handy.

i`d feel extra confident this season if we had an extra CF, doesn`t have to be Remy, i`d be fine with anyone who can do a decent job if needed , but i can live with what we got as things are and think we would win some silverware. tho not sure which ones.

Fulham could do with a him for a season next year (they could this year actually,but not gonna happen with him starring in Madrid) and it would help him settle into the area...i would have said so do West Ham on the other side of town but a year over there may scare him for life..

cheers, the last time i played Fantasy Football before this season was in the newspaper and Glen Hoddle was our manager. just wait till i get my match fitness back. i don`t think i`ll be top after this weekend tho. it`s gonna be a marathon not a sprint tho of course.. i only picked Branislav over Cole because he`s more of a goal threat..i wanted to stay away from the other CB`s because it`s too up in the air who will play and Luiz has clearly been told to stay back more now. Hazard and Torres i think should carry on picking up points each week even if they have lil dips in form. when i saw that Michu is classed as a midfielder i had to have him,i expect him to be Swansea`s top scorer and within the top 10-15 for all the Prem when the season is done.

it was revenge on Barcelona because we stopped them winning a tournament which in their currently deluded lil heads is just a victory parade for them. if we had lost the final then the ghost of moscow would live on and have become a bigger beast but i don`t think Barcelona fans could feel like they were back ontop again if Bayern beat us. it would mean that they couldn`t beat the runners up.

Last month it was myself ,Manpe,Hutcho and Ryan Davidson (along with others) 4 members who as far as i know had never been nominated before. some of us not even 1 vote or mention. none of us made it this month. interestingly tho in light of what you say now,out of the nominations this month you voted for the only member who was in last months nominations.

i hope we sign him then. quality player from what i`ve seen of him.

i can remember him being linked to a move to England a couple of years back, then there came out rumours of a possible problem with his heart..does anyone know anything about that?

i usually look at these with the only thought in mind that we have good away days in it. but at present i can`t leave the country as my mother is having a very important operation soon and i`m gonna continue to be her home help for some time just yet so won`t be able to travel in europe again until the knockout stages. i`m open to who we draw this time,just don`t want to be drawn into a "group of death"
