Gotta love the Gerrard sentiment at the moment. Become a massive thorn in his side, even the most deluded Liverpool fans see it. But they'd much rather take it out on BR (who I still believe to be a good coach) before speak out over him. Hindsight is a funny thing right?

I'll be damned if our unbeaten record goes out the window to Spurs! I'd rather Newcastle took it ffs.

These are the times I can't stand B/R articles.. "Do Not Give in to Temptation: Remain at Chelsea". I'm struggling to remember the last time a player, in their prime, moved away from Chelsea to a bigger/better club. Perhaps Robben to Real? And even then you could argue that was prior to said 'prime'
-
Said it before, but this is too similar to Azpilicueta last season. Couldn't get a look in then the opportunity came along..
-
Perhaps Jose's plan is to shift Brana to CB once he sees Terry decline.. Opening up an opportunity for Luis.
-
Interesting question to be fair.. Terry, Drogba, Mikel, Ramires & Cech (if he's not already off to be fair). It depends on the circumstances though, if it's through simply playing badly then yeah they'll all probably go. If it's because of some scandal and its punishment I think more would stay.

I don't share this view.. It's a bit of strange conclusion to come to tbh. Mourinho's game is to make Chelsea stronger than the current opposition, he's not spiteful enough to sign just for the sake of weakening another side. We signed Letico players to improve us, not really to weaken them. Just like we did to Porto when Mourinho first arrived.

I've never seen the forum agree on an opinion as avidly as right now
-
When Scott Parker was England captain facepalm.
-
Yeah exactly lmao. There's always a 'flavour of the month/season/year' or whatever and it's the same calibre of players.. Cattermole, Shawcross, Delph, OSMAN FFS
-
There's a difference between defending well and literally parking a bus, Sunderland did the former. The blocks, interceptions and holding a solid defensive line was tactical and organised. If the big stat of the weekend was that we've scored in every game before Saturday - What exactly were Sunderland meant to do? Though, I don't buy into this Lee Cattermole to England nonsense. He's mediocre.

& Reus.
-
Well that's me proven wrong This just feels like it's a 1-0er... Hope it's in our favour of course.
-
6 goals in 14 games now. His progression is going really well. This is when the loan system actually works! Needs to continue this form.
-
Gah I don't like Sunderland at all! Probably cos my best mate is a Newcastle fan, but also because they're our "bogey team". The latter is definitely showing
-
Negative rep? (couldn't resist)
-
We all want him to move abroad.. But Chelsea is Chelsea. Do I want him going to Arsenal or Liverpool? No. Do I see it happening? Yes.
-
Might not be as active any more, but I definitely don't want this plea going unheard. Donated £5 for now, will try and give more soon.
-
That doesn't mean he's suited for every club in the long term. I just don't think he's required to be honest..
-
Remember when people said he was nothing without Iniesta and Xavi? ..somewhere, some place, Kermit the frog is having a nice brew
-
Don't see it to be honest. Wherever Messi goes next, he'll want to be the 'main man' at said club (and not just because fee+salary would reflect it). There's no room for that at Chelsea, we've got Hazard/Costa/Oscar occupying those 'main man' roles.. Dare I say it, Lionel Messi could actually be detrimental to what Mourinho's trying to do with this squad.
-
I'm sure in that particular case, that player being HG was the last reason on the list to sign him lmao
-
There's no point. As it is Luis and Azpilicueta are battling that left-back role, if Luis can only get the cup games why on earth have Bertrand rotting away as usual? I'm glad he's finally found a club where he's going to get the exposure he deserves. He's always been humble about Chelsea too, so got a lot of respect for him. He'll always leave us with a Champions League Winners Medal and no-one can take that away from him.

In Kenya, not too long ago, a bus was stopped by Al Shabbah (a branch of Al Queda). They brought out the Quran and made everyone read from it, those who could not were executed. Two Muslims who could read stood up and begged the terrorists not to kill the none Muslims.. They were executed for precisely that. Honest & compassionate Muslims will never make mainstream media.

Just heard about this now, absolutely tragic. I do hope there will be some sort of tribute on the pitch in our next home game! A former manager who deserves immense respect from Chelsea fans, whether around or not when he was. RIP Johnny Neal
