this sounds like small club mentality. we play in the champions league to play the best teams in Europe and showcase our talent. why do we want to play Arsenal and Liverpool over Bayern? I'd rather we play Bayern, Barca and Real to show we can beat them and legitimately be the best club in Europe.

I really feel sorry for Moses. We signed him fresh from Wigan and probably sold him a dream of breaking through and solidifying a place. Martinez and Whelan tried their hardest to convince him to continue developing with Wigan which he would've and instead he was blinded. Willian, Schurrle and Salah have thus been signed and it's clear he's got no first team future with us. It's a shame tbh.

Tbh it looks good for a pure 4-3-3 when you push Schurrle and Willian up and Hazard would have more space to roam around. It would be a good strategy for the last 10 mins of a game when it's a draw and we need a goal.. Tired opposition wouldn't have an answer

I don't agree with any of your points and if you're interested, I'll say why. Mourinho has already said Frank was offered a deal like Ash but both rejected. I was in favour of Lampard moving abroad (I did state pessimism about NYC) because it wouldn't affect Chelsea's ambitions. It doesn't matter if he plays for them or not. The point for us who are not happy more than others is that he's playing for a direct title rival. It's as bad as Liverpool, Arsenal or United. If he wanted solely to train, Mourinho said Abramovic promised Lampard a job for life. He could've signed his 6 month loan with us. Lampard even said Uncle Harry wanted him at QPR but he didn't want to move because it was too close to Chelsea. Well, if he was just training that surely staying in London is a bigger incentive? As for your third and fourth point, Lampard shouldn't be willing to offer to help City in their quest for success. He should be thinking how to help Chelsea, if he really did reject QPR for the fans. Even if NYC and City have the same owners, he would've been told about this in negotiations and yet he STILL proceeded. Other MLS clubs wanted him, LA Galaxy the most prominent. So he wasn't short of options.

He was also blinded by City's lure. in reality he can only blame himself, he saw what became of Sinclair and Johnson but thought he would be different. I still remember the potential dram England future of Rodwell, Henderson and McEachran in the middle.. Such a waste of talents.
