I love the 3-4-3. I love it.

Costa and Hazard will be completely invisible because of Mourinho's tactics. The question is whether the other guys can deliver. Time for Pedro, Moses, Kante, Matic and Alonso to shine! This weekend has been perfect so far for Chelsea. Win and we're only one point from the top!

And I don't completely agree with your assessment about Griezmann's work ethic. IMO he's definitely closer to Di Maria than Hazard in that area. I mean, he plays in Simeone's team ffs, all Atletico players are trained (and most likely doped up) to run up and down the pitch like rabid dogs.

Damn this guy would be the perfect player in a 3-4-3 next to Costa and Hazard as we need more attacking threat from the right side. Splashing £100m for him next summer certainly wouldn't be the dumbest thing the club could do. Too bad Atletico have that transfer ban, which makes getting Griezmann very unlikely.

Hazard, Costa, Moses, Alonso, Luiz, Kante. All these players seem to thrive in the 3-4-3 formation. And Matic, Cahill, Pedro, Willian and Azpilicueta aren't doing too badly either. In fact, the only player in the whole squad that really doesn't seem to fit in is Fabregas. If we keep winning with this formation, he might leave the club in January.

I'm telling you, this is the next first XI player from the academy since JT. Every time he gets a chance, he delivers. He has all the necessary qualities to make it to the very top.

Alonso+Hazard looks promising and Moses has been good as well. If only we had Griezmann/Bale/Mahrez or even Bertrand Traore instead of Pedro...

60m today was like 25-30m in 2010. John Terry was turned 30 during the 2010-11 season. Would you had paid 25m for John Terry in the summer of 2010? And, it's not like the club doesn't have an armada of players around Europe ready to be sold. Plus there are plenty of players in the first team that will be sold in the following transfer windows as well so that 60m could be made with other transfers literally overnight. Also, is there a better central defender in world football at the moment than Bonucci? I'd say no. I've said it before and i'll say it again. The club needs world class players. So we need to buy world class players. And like we saw during the summer, there ain't many world-class centre-backs out there. When one becomes (rumours) available, you take your shot.

I played this formation in FIFA 17. It was amazing! Dave turned into a real beast in that midfield position. Antonio, follow my advice.

Interesting formation. But please, please, put Chalobah instead of Matic. The tall Serbian has to be the most awkward midfielder I've ever seen.

I don't think the squad is as bad as you guys make it sound. Sell of the deadwood, buy 3 top top players and bring in 3 of our best youth players from loan and suddenly it is a proper squad. Because of the amount of serious talent on loan and in the academy, and because of the fact that many players like Matic, Oscar, Pedro and Fabregas still have significant re-sale value, "a total overhaul" won't be as expensive as it might sound. A core of Courtois, Azpilicueta, Zouma, Kante, Hazard and Costa is actually really good. The question is, will the board be able to attract world class players and are they even willing to spend outrageous amounts on few individuals? Last thing the board needs to do is what Spurs did after selling Bale and what Liverpool did after selling Suarez. Buying bunch of mediocre players for £20-30m won't do the job. Instead, the focus should be on couple of world class players.

Thus far this partnership has been an absolute disaster. Maybe someone has the time to find statistics of all games since this was announced but its been terrible to say the least, not just the league and cup games but also both pre-seasons. BRING BACK SAMSUNG AND MAKE CHELSEA GREAT AGAIN! And deport all Serbians out of Chelsea while you're at it.
