IMO both Costa and Hazard ARE worth £300k a week. That's the amount of money it takes to have top players in your team in 2017. We better get used to it or otherwise we'll become that club, which is bitching about the obscene amounts of money in football and finishes 4th every season.

Hahah well I'm 28 but I call 27 year olds as "kids" I guess I have a mind of 10 year old as well since I still have that school yard mentality and I like to tease people who are younger than me lol. And don't worry about the apartments and such. You'll have plenty of time to play house, pretending to be an utterly boring adult. Being a young adult, a "kid" whilst living at home is actually great but many people are not able to enjoy that period as much as they should because they think filling everyday life with responsibilities as soon as possible is somehow socially desirable. ----- I think it's actually really impressive that players like Lewis Baker are able to move alone to foreign countries at such a young age and still able to play football and improve everyday. I guess the Chelsea loan system might not always (almost never) work for the first team but most likely it provides the youth players with a great opportunity to grow as people, especially if they go abroad. That experience might be worth a lot more than any degree they could ever get from a formal educational institute.

Damn, this could even become a political affair knowing how much foreign policy is behind the Chinese bid in becoming a global footballing superpower. Putin is too afraid of getting the Chinese upset at this moment in time so he might give his buddy Roman a call in order to persuade him to sell Costa if the Chinese and Costa are demanding it. This could be the big move the Chinese have been looking for in terms of getting a world-class player and gaining some serious recognition for their league. It might potentially change the sport forever. For the sake of our season and European football in general, let's hope it's just poor journalism.

If there is any player in our loan army that has an actual 'football brain', it has to be Aké. Let's remember that he is only 21 years old and yet he has already proved his worth at the highest level as a left-back and as a centre-back. He is mature beyond his years, very professional and consistent, reads the game very well and always gives his best. In fact, he reminds me of Azpilicueta in a way – same kind of mentality. In comparison to Azpi, I believe Aké has better technique, is better at short passing and is also a bit quicker whilst Azpi is of course the superior defender out of these two. Nevertheless, whatever Mourinho did to Azpi back in 2014, Conte can do the same to Aké. Under Conte he'll become a warrior, it's only matter of if he is given a proper opportunity in the starting XI. I've always been very convinced of this guy, and not only due of his footballing skills but because of his consistency, attitude and professionalism. I believe Conte will value those characteristics as well.

His time has finally come. Let's hope Conte gives him a proper chance because he has deserved it. Whether it's LWB, LCB or CDM/CM, he can deliver. I honestly think he can replace Alonso or even Matic in the starting XI.

£70m is good value considering how inflated the market is. If that pricetag is true then we should definitely pay it!
