  1. slow week for transfer rumor traffic on websites. it's even more preposterous that United would have any interest in Turan.
  2. Not that Barca are unbeatable, but I'm just going put this out there: don't feel disappointed when Chelsea cannot overcome Barca until years from now. Staying competitive in all competitions is a priority, but being realistic when it comes to facing Barca (unless there's injuries in Barca) is more healthy as a fan.
  3. Haven't seen him play much; only remember that he was one of my favourite players in a crappy game called FIFA 15 that I sold 6 months ago because it was so shite.
  4. I've wanted him out of the club for maybe 4-5 or 6 years and he's the last one remaining of Torres, Luiz, Mikel -the players definitely worth dumping from the squad in recent years, two of whom I disliked with a passion: Mikel and Torres. More than only this, those players have been symbols for what Chelsea have done wrong in recent years. Mikel leaving is the lungs exhaling the final foul dirt of the past. I'm not sure your number is correct on his salary although some sites confirm that. In any case, he's a waste of money, period. Time to move on to players with better quality or potential.
  5. 130,000/week for Falcao (who MIGHT improve after his recent injury, 2014) while getting rid of J. Mikel Obi @ 120,000/week sounds like some good business but we might as well be looking at an additional striker in the transfer market assuming Bamford is going on-loan and Remy could be exiting.
  6. sounds turdtastic. I'm more excited for an Izzy Brown on the pitch during the next season.
  7. Hurry out the door. been waiting years for this to happen and better quality player to arrive for CM.
  8. Witsel sounds good to me. perfect CM, maybe a healthier or sturdier version of Gundo. one everyone nearly forgot: Allan at Udinese. Of course, clubs like Juve and Roma haven't forgotten him.
  9. either way is fine with me. Chelsea need a LB that adds to the attack with young legs though regardless.
  10. He's ready for Ligue 1, so maybe that Marseille partnership will find him there.
  11. Falcao... IDK why Chelsea would bother. Benteke, new box-to-box CM, star fullback. sell: Moses, Mikel, etc. and maybe find a winger to buy, but I don't see where that winger is coming from.
  12. Good to hear he wants to stay and fight for us.
  13. I don't really care one way or the other, but I believe Chelsea will be far better off with Benteke as the top striker in the long-run. Diego isn't a bad guy, but I have suspicions about his fitness and ability to play in the cold --nevermind his dirty tricks against defenders who are stronger than him. Of course, I would rather have a stronger striker too.

  15. I wish I could have watched Bunesliga on TV for the past few years. I would have improved my view of football as entertainment a little bit. The players that have been on the Basel team have been good; I think they're underrated. Gladbach's manager is one of the more interesting people in management IMHO.
  16. I cannot comment on Baba Rahman because I've not watched der Bundesliga for more than 4 years (while missing my club's triumphs due to lack of television access here). But having watched some videos, he DOES have a great physique and --apparently-- good technique for tackling. Plenty of foot+leg to stick in there too. Interesting prospect. In fact, it's really hard for me to not like the look of him physically and his skills.
  17. New GK, Donnarumma. Sounds like the name on my future Chelsea shirt (if adidas ever make another nice shirt). http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/444954/transfer-news-Chelsea-Man-United-gossip-rumours
  18. This is nice kit IMO, from adidas: http://imgick.oregonlive.com/home/olive-media/width960/img/oregonian/photo/2014/03/-5e651c3ea046f027.jpg http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=33449716&camp=CSE:GooglePLA:33449716:18115473:LICENSED&CAGPSPN=pla&CAWELAID=120138600000452720&catargetid=120138600001603954&cadevice=c
  19. Maybe he should knock on Huw Jenkins' door.
  20. you should be aware that if you buy number sets on ebay, they often do not come in the correct size. only 9 inches tall or less. the real ones are a full 10 inches, if memory serves. All the 2015/16 kits are crap designs. finding something more interesting in the sale bin is likely --even if it's a Real Betis shirt.
  21. Rather have N'Zonzi than any of those players in Ligue 1. So, if none of Pogba, Schweiny, Koke, and Schneiderlin are incoming, then who?
  22. I got the same reaction from posters on Morgan Schneiderlin when I said he would be a good acquisition two years ago in springtime. N'Zonzi's good enough too. Schweiny isn't coming to Chelsea, neither are Koke and Pogburr. I would be happy with Schneiderlin coming, but I'm going to guess that won't happen either. Jubilent if Mikel leaves and someone good comes in --doesn't need to be the superstar player on his way in.
  23. N'Zonzi and Schneiderlin are better choices than any mention. N'Zonzi has as much skill as everyone you mention and is rarely hurt --plus stronger and taller. A worthy candidate for any purpose in CM, but capable of being a starter regardless of the competition, I'm betting.
  24. Assuming we do not get Koke nor Pogburr, who do you like for CM? Until I watched highlights from the Stoke match, I had recently forgotten N'Zonzi. N'Zonzi is, for me a good choice at CM: stature, skill, experience in EPL, and full of running. Who else is out there, either in the UK or in continental Europe?
