  1. anyone tried some good drugs lately? anyone watching South Park these days? waiting for the 2nd Mourinho term to end.
  2. dribbling down blind alleys, creating nothing from open play and interplay... also, too SLOW. When these things go away, I will enjoy Chelsea's football. However, I've been waiting for years for this to go away and for Chelsea to consistently pass quickly and readily to teammates getting quickly into open space or beyond opposition defence. So many times, it's like a dream that Chelsea will never realize, so I just watch some other clubs play for that --ie. "real football." flowing football won't be realized under Jose. the enjoyable Chelsea that I want to see needs a fresh manager and coaching staff. now, Chelsea can't even grind out wins in their typical boring fashion. Time to dump the manager.
  3. worked for Ancelotti's AC Milan, but not for Chelsea. after all those millions spent, there was never a great front 4 for that 4231 at Chelsea.
  4. I, for one, WOULD get on an online forum and praise a football club IF they demonstrated consistency and promise. Chelsea repeatedly have lacked a balanced squad and consistently lacked promising build-up play since about 2005. Some people can reply that they've been fans since the 60s or 70s; I really don't care. Why would I watch something that consistently disappoints and offers very little in the way of hope? That's just depressing. **one note: I basically missed all of the successful Ancelotti season, so I cannot comment on that one season. If it weren't for Didier Drogba, I probably would have never bothered watching Chelsea after 2005 and IMO Chelsea relied upon him for way more than they ever should have since Robben's departure (among others). When Nemanja Matic returned, David Luiz and F. Torres departed, I began to think that Chelsea were turning a page. With this manager, I cannot say things have a shimmer of hope --even if we have had success scouting and signing to potentially brilliant players while also fostering some good talent in the youth team and reserves. Jose, Emanalo, et al. can sign the best young players and we can all talk about Jose as "one of the best," but on any given week, one of the most dreadful matches I've had to watch for years has involved SLOW, INCOMPETENT Chelsea on the attack. HOW IS THAT CHANGING NOW? It's hard to know what exactly has happened to Cesc Fabregas in one year, but it's possible that --Chelsea-- happened to him --along with the fact that he shouldn't be sitting in front of the back four. Jose's fault; not the player. The other possibility is that it's just the player and his own life/career/physical fitness, etc. --which I doubt is the main reason. A player from Barca comes to Chelsea... that's a story of a player moving from a quick, up-tempo, cohesive passing side to one that plods along every week, sometimes increasing the tempo, but often relying too much upon individuals (who are not Messi or Ronaldo, or Marcelo, or Xavi, BTW).
  5. bunch of nonsense discussion. Chelsea need a next manager, the kind that AVB was supposed to be. this league is moving forward and it looks to me that Chelsea don't know what they're doing (although the same can be said for clubs like Newcastle and Sunderland).
  6. Time for a manager change --and no, it's not Simeone, nor any of the big names. someone fresh, but capable as a tactician, willing to take some risks, develop young players with time on the pitch. It doesn't take a genius to park a bus when needed, so get someone who can potentially do it all because it's not possible to build a future with Jose's mentality. bunch of bullshit and regression with this guy. I'm done being on the fence. Jose out.
  7. I'm done watching this team until the manager leaves. got better things to do and I don't want to feel bad about football with some idiot ruining it for everyone.
  8. No one on this side will realize his full potential under this manager.
  9. this needs to stop. this is absolute crap. someone else needs to build the New Chelsea and get the squad playing both attacking, cohesive football and solid defence. I've seen enough of this regressive Jose shite show and for 7 years, Chelsea have been the boring big money club that every neutral hates for a good reason. time to move forward with fresh faces for coaching and management. stop wasting talent on shit football.
  10. Maybe next week CFC can finally crack into the relegation zone.
  11. this team is going to crap because of the manager. Why do the Spanish players come to Chelsea aside from the money?
  12. Begovic Azpi Zouma Cahill Baba Mikel - Ramires/Oscar/Cesc - Matic Pedro Remy Hazard Bench: Ramires/Oscar/Cesc, Kenedy, Terry, Blackman, Falcao, Traore, --non-existent RB or Aina--- (but not Ivanovic)
  13. don't understand why they hired S. McClaren, but things look good for our next match. More concerned about the West Ham match in 4 weeks.
  14. I think he's a damn fine striker already but mainly this is in the context of a time when good all-around strikers and CFs seem more rare. I don't believe Chelsea have one either --but I hope I am proven wrong on that. sidenote: will be interesting to see how Gestede does with AV. 6'4"
  15. sounds like some users think Oscar has really matured. will be interesting to see what he can do, but if Chelsea don't have strength, speed and capability in CM and fullback, the whole season could just be a mess regardless of how good any one player MIGHT play. doesn't take long to become discouraged with the chances conceded from the right flank and the weakness in CM.
  16. Fabinho is an interesting player. I'm a little bit disappointed both Porto FBs went elsewhere in the summer window. But Gaya is impressive. Not great yet, but has speed, endurance, skill.... little animal runs all day.
  17. would be a good choice, but he's a LB. why was Rahman bought? I think Gaya has a good chance to become on the best FBs
  18. Diego is too weak and foolish to last long for this club. that's my view since the end of 2014. good luck swimming with him, Jose.
  19. he was just nervous. has siill, speed and strength. he's young. I'm looking forward to more of him, RLC, Traore, and Kenedy.
  20. There OUGHT to be something different about the starting XI today FFS. something, Jose. please.
  21. I'm going to be happy to see RLC make more starts. Will be very happy seeing him get time to settle into the CM as a starter. Desperately needed at this club along with better fullback play. Would also be great to see Traore on the pitch with his excellent finishing ability and LEFT FOOT on the RW.
  22. also a super talent: Gaya, Valencia. http://metro.co.uk/2015/09/15/chelsea-set-for-transfer-battle-with-manchester-city-and-real-madrid-to-sign-valencia-defender-jose-gaya-report-5391519/
  23. wow. to think that someone could have just gotten on the damn horse, sold Ramires, Ivanovic, Mikel, Oscar, etc. and started scooping up some real CM talent during the summer (or started buying good CMs the previous summer, or 2 summers ago, or 3 summers ago.....) IDK if the top four spots will be nailed by other PL clubs, but at the moment, West Ham's CM looks stronger, Crystal Palace could rock Chelsea every time, and we're not even going to talk about the rest of the "big clubs." Good luck with all this, CFC.
