His injury was made worse by him being played again too soon and he went on and hindered the groin injury. At this moment in time, there is still no talk of any surgery, and Palmer is on his way back. Good News As per SPTC Sources, Chelsea have a return plan set out for Cole Palmer to get back into the squad. We can reveal that Palmer will be back on the grass doing individual training very soon and the plan at the moment is to give him 30 minutes against Burnley on November the 22nd, in a view for him getting his first start for the Barcelona game on November the 25th. Obviously I have to say that this is the plan, and sometimes plans don’t always come off. But right now, he is on schedule to make this and this is what they are planning to do with him. As long as there are no setbacks between now and then, or unless if his recovery goes even faster, this is when we can all expect to see Palmer back out on the pitch with Chelsea. Let’s hope things continue to go well so we can soon add Palmer back into the mix again. Let’s also hope that this groin injury does not reoccur again.
