The English Football Thread

Started by Steve,

Antonio Conte and Beppe Marotta  are linked with a move to Manchester United. According to  Il Corriere Dello Sport the Red Devils are the biggest temptation of the Premier League giants who are currently dealing with José Mourinho's crisis.

Zinedine Zidane has "no interest" in Manchester United job, favours Juventus return.

French website Le Parisien has claimed that the Frenchman has no interest in taking over from Mourinho and would much rather return to Juventus, the club where he played his football before moving to Real Madrid.

According to the report, one of Zidane's key aims for his sabbatical year is to spend as much time with his family before returning to management ahead of next season, which would suggest that a mid-season appointment is off the table.

Hope to fuck they don't get shot of him until after we play them, I want to rub it right in his face when we pass them to death and get them chasing our shadows.

Fucking hate them and Mourinho can kiss my arse.

Absolute disgraceful stuff from United players. Half of their squad should be sent to some Siberian gulag for couple months. For the ordinary guy it takes a few days of work to make enough money for a match ticket and this is what these players give in return?

This is football nowadays. Someone in our squad wanted to lose rather than win whilst Mou was incharge.

Player power has gotten out of control

Woodward is at fault. Getting the leak out that Mourinho is going. Because of that, the players wouldn’t care at winning. And it showed.

Man United's next game is at the Bridge. Watch them replace the manager and perform against us…. He will still be backed after today hopefully but it is getting harder and harder.

Player power ? More like Mourinho working his 3rd season magic again.

Players downing tools isn't exclusive to Mou; he just makes matters worse.

Yeah or just perform anyway. Don't think it'll be anything like this.

Anthony Taylor saved Utd in the end. How he missed Young's blatant handball is beyond me.

Wonder how Mou will talk about that Young handball. Could have been 0-3 very easily. Mata started it all.

Anyway, we HAVE TO beat them at the Bridge when they come next game.
