Considering the talent and quality in our side and the money we’ve spent compared to them, it’s legit embarrassing that we’re sitting behind Newcastle and fucking Nottingham Forest. Especially after the run we were on where we looked electric and were miles ahead of all of these sides that are now right on our tails or ahead of us.

I just can’t help but be jealous when I see Arse with an unbelievably good CB pairing at one end of the pitch or Newcastle who have an unbelievably good striker at the other end. Meanwhile, we’re very good in every area except for those two which are the most important.

Well over a BILLION spent under this new ownership and we still don’t have the two things you need most as a top team which is a top class CB partnership that plays together every single match and a lethal, ruthless finisher. And it doesn’t look like either of these things is going to be addressed until at least the summer when we may not even have UCL football.

If we had Isak up front for us and Saliba next to Colwill we’d be going head to head with Liverpool for the title. Yet all we’re hearing about is us still targeting a 19 year old kid from Bayern and an “unnamed young CB” for the summer. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
