No he hasnt, you cant add mins on top of extra time as you see fit. You can add 1min at most, only in epl I see this BS, it does not happen this often in other leagues. Its ok im sure we will witness much much more bullshittery throughout the season....as a footy fan first you cant be happy how footy is going in epl.

indeed, it was arbitrary bollocks and it stole the game

United got super lucky but not reading much into their sluggish start yet. They will be right up there in the top four race.

You best believe this is only the start, many many more on the way. I find it baffling how people saw udt being pushed for a CL place with BS after BS decisions in their favour yet all is still well. I might be crazy but im not dumb, clearly epl is dodgy. BS rules set in, you cant question the refs, you cant raise your voice, fa and pigmol beyond approach, say one bad word and your punished.

On the bright side, as long as VAR and corrupted refs are keeping OGS in the job and Utd in a somewhat respectable league position they will never be truly good agan just whereabouts. It looks like the glazers will not splash the cash, sell their dregs or hire a decent manager as long as they consistently reach top 4 with the help of the refs.

ESPN being an American site, hence they are picking a set of rules and not the FA rules. Section 8 of the Fa Rules not mentioning any of what he quoted. Instead the FA Rules - page 140-150 talk about VAR. Read that - and it indicates the decision can not be overturned - VAR Principle 1.10 “if play has stopped and been restarted , the referee may not undertake a review except for a case of mistaken identity or for a potential sending off...”. They would argue play hadn’t “restarted” but that is logically impossible at the end of the game so the “stop” takes precedent
