But we won't make it. Spurs and Liverpool have a very favorable run-in and we haven't even gone to Newcastle!

Yeah the thing is, even if it was not that favourable, imagine liverpool lose vs stoke, such that we could beat them to get 4th, I would not back us to do so with this generation of players we have. When we led Spurs 1-0 we had them by the balls, we had acres of space, chance after chance but we did not have the guts or the composure to finish them and most probably get us a top 4 finish. it is crazy, last year the same group of players saw out the title run-in cool as you like but this season when there is a game to win at any cost they somehow always fuck it up and concede silly goals and don't score.

And for us to win them all as well.. Way we've played not being in the champions league may not be a bad thing. We hardly did amazing and unless much changes can see next time being the same.

i wish we played our semi first. if we was already in it i`d like to face Spurs in the final. if we lose though i don`t want a Spurs v Southampton final, they`d be too likely to win that.

as a side note I've been working mostly in Southampton the last 3 years,so been an enjoyable week..hope it`s not ruined tomorrow when i`m back in my hometown.

honestly i`d rather us do that than Scumpool win another European cup.slither of a hope we can get in by finishing 4th but if it comes to us playing next year in the European minor cup or European cup with Liverpool as reigning champions i`ll take the former.

giving our young players plenty of game time in Europa cup could make us better in the longterm by taking this step back.
