Special Juan 28,141
Couldn't of gone any worse this weekend. But we still have a gap, a gap that we can increase. It's key we stay focused and come next weekend we will put Arsenal away to make up for yesterday and the Foy saga, mark my words.Stay happy, stay blue and most of all stay positive.Chelsea Chelsea. xPetrCechx, The Skipper and didierforever

petre.ispirescu 4,928
I kind of hope we go out of the CL this week. We ain't winning it so no use piling on more matches. If we can lose to Villa then we can lose to any of the other shit sides we have left. We need 100% of our focus on the league like City and Liverpool.Judging by the looks of things, I'd say this team has more chances of reaching the UCL Final than winning the EPL title this season. It's all about a good/lucky draw and some strong pairs in the other fixtures.I'm sure Galatasaray won't be a problem at Stamford Bridge and here we go. Quarter-finals. Possible opponents - Barcelona, Atletico de Madrid, Paris, Bayern de Munich, Borussia, Madrid and United/Olympiakos.United/Olympiakos, Atletico de Madrid and Borussia are teams that Chelsea should not be afraid of. I can add Paris to this list. I, for one, I'm not afraid of them. I agree they have some great players in their squad, but let's be honest, they are playing in a poor league and they've had some second hand opponents so far in this UCL campaign. Barcelona, Bayern de Munich and Madrid are to be avoided, even though Barcelona is nowhere near the level of that team Chelsea met in 2012.Then there's the Semi-final. But once again, it's all about a good draw because, hypothetically speaking, you can have a nice draw and get Borussia in the Quarter-finals and then the winner of Olympiakos - Atletico Madrid in the Semi-final. 1% chances for this to happen, but I was just saying, you know...Then the Final where everything can happen.Plus think about the Chelsea and Mourinho factor. UEFA want the best teams and the best coaches in the Semi-finals. It's not about football anymore, it's more than that, marketing, TV etc. I'm pretty sure they won't pair Chelsea against Guardiola or Madrid in the Quarter-finals. Still, they might go for a Madrid derby just to exclude the possibility of having three Spanish teams in the Semi-finals. I'm not saying this road will be easier, but as it stands, I won't rule out Champions League yet.

Any matchup if we do advance will provide to be difficult and we have a much better shot at winning the league than Champs League. Only team I am fearful of is City. kobematabryant 400
I think Liverpool have the biggest chance winning the league, assuming no injures to SAS. They have all easy fixtures now, with us and City left. They've got us at Anfield, which they've been dominating teams left and right. City on the other hand still have to play Arsenal, Man Utd, Everton away. Only thing letting us down is the fact we have to play Liverpool AWAY. I am hoping a team can stop Liverpool in their tracks. Yes, they have played great football and yes they are a force at home, but just like Arsenal you always feel they will bottle it in the end. IMO, if one team can beat them in their own backyard, it's us. They might have the offence, but we have the D and it served us well against City, too. Shame is, even if we win at anfield, you can bet on us being brought down by the ref in Cardiff. Ainsley Harriott and The Skipper

For me it's the Galatasarays and Atleticos that worry me, not the Barcas and Bayerns.Honestly starting to think that if we get into the next round then we become the dark horse favourite alongside Atletico to win it. bushman 2,043
I believe, Chelsea will beat Arsenal on Saturday. That will put them out of the running for the title. Lol.As for Liverpoops, not my choice. Too early for them to win it.If Chelsea cannot win it, then I would like to see Citeh as the champions. The thought of seeing a Lampard/Ramires midfield against a Bayern or Madrid doesn't exactly inspire a lot of confidence in me.I really feel that next season we'll be one of those sides that everyone will be scared to play. Also look forward to shutting up these idiotic Arse/Liverpool supporters who claim our football is so "boring and dire." Which is always funny to me because we're looking down on those sides in the table with our "boring" football. When we finally have a striker of world class, big club standard, Matic is available, and we hopefully have a creative partner next to him we'll be a force to be reckoned with. Just think it's a season too early for us to win the CL again. The only place to be

Pizy 18,897
At times, Chelsea did play defensive football, to some it´s boring.Yeah, but for a side like Arsenal whose supporters pride themselves on playing pretty, one-touch football to berate our club who has won 10+ trophies since they last won one is laughable. Liverpool are having their best season in years and are still behind us yet call us a negative, boring side.I can deal with it if a Barca or Bayern fan says it because they're perennial winners, but for supporters of losers to say it is just hilarious. Still, it does not have anything to do with trophies. It describes the way Chelsea had played against Barca, Bayern & in recent times vs Manures or Arsenal.I was going crazy when Didier scored his penalty kick. Was I happy how Chelsea played in the previous games? No, I was not.Perhaps, to demand trophies & certain style is not realistic.
