Of course there will be new manager bounce when United play Chelsea

It always appears to be the same. Hopefully, they can take their frustration out on Leicester before our encountering.

Having said that, they've missed 22 big chances already this season (just watch Dalot's miss yesterday if you haven't already). No manager can work miracles.

Was just about to comment the same. Why can we never catch them at their low? They always raise their game vs us and make it super awkward. Now with ten hag gone I can’t see them still be the total pushovers they were for the last few months. they clearly have the quality to hit us on the break. Would love to hammer them again after 7 years of mostly disappointing results but will take a nervy win any day. Last seasons performance at OT was one of the biggest let downs  of the season so can hardly be any worse now

I thought Southgate was a shoo-in all things considered.

Interesting appointment. Amorim was ignored by Chelsea and Liverpool in the summer.

From what I’m reading Amorim’s style is pretty at odds with the personnel United have. So it really feels like they just;Ickes the hottest hipster name and gone for him with little regard to stylistic fit.

They don’t really have a pivot nor good options at wingback. It will be a square peg in a round hole to start. They would really like to announce him by the weekend. We will be facing RVN at the wheel.

I hear from Portugal a new possibility

Ruben Amorim might decide to wait for City if Pep leaves. But United pushing for a deal

And Marco Silva has also been approached by Manchester United

Will get to change the personnel though. It is better than going for Southgate or Potter which are the other names I am seeing

Understand there’s no concern from Man City’s side that United are in talks with Sporting for Amorim. Not considered a top candidate to take over from Guardiola (when he leaves) primarily because his system doesn’t fit with the way City play. Clear run for United on that front.

👀Chelsea Liverpool Bayern and now City have all shown no serious interest in Amorim!!!!

Will he? They’ve spent an absolute monster amount on Ten Hag’s hand picked players. Players that have been pretty shit for the most part and will be super difficult to ship out. I don’t think Amorim will be given much to spend in January. Especially if their season is basically over by that point.

They were idiots not to go super hard for Tuchel while he was ready and surely willing to take that job a few weeks ago. He could’ve saved their season.

Tuchel rejected them before I think it was not starter.
