Man City set to erect NETTING around Liverpool fans when they next play at the Etihad to protect their supporters after a 15-year-old girl was 'scarred for life' by a pint cup filled with coins

But its never their fault, the girl deliberately headbutted the glass full of coins....

Rattclife officially making moves to buy Utd - we might have dodged the bullet here, as if he doesn't care what club he buys, it may mean he just want's a rich man toy

He’s a Man United fan.

He has said countless times buying a PL club isn’t good value for money compared to other clubs in foreign leagues (fully agreed but I suppose if I was a multi multi billionaire I’d either want to be batman 😂 or own the football club I support in the ‘best league in the world’) but I would imagine his affiliation to United as a fan probably as well as scratching the itch of owning a PL club, something he’s wanted and tried to do already with Newcastle, us and Leeds (although whilst in the Championship IIRC), will make it happen.

The “its a rich mans toy” thing is throwaway comment because how often has that been said in the past and its never been accurate? With us when Roman took over, when City were bought by Sheikh Mansour, when PSG were bought by the Qatari’s , probably when we were bought over again etc.

These guys are passionate about achieving something with these clubs, which they will treat the same way as any other business undoubtedly and want it to be successful. Nobody who is rich enough buys a PL football club these days for the going prices purely to use it as a toy or a plaything.

He is going to need to take on a lot of debt to do it, so I am all for it.

Good lord, playing in games officiated by United fans is one thing, but having United fan as an owner would be the whole new level of Chelsea thing.

I 'm trying to understand what is the real crime -or potential criminal activity- when M. City breaks those financial rules.
Let's take for example the case of the sponsorships.
Qatar airlines paid them say 100 million, they declared 150 million.
What could be hidden behind this ? Tax evasion by somebody maybe ?
The same for the other types of breach.

Or if you don't like criminal activities, what breach of fair play ?

Radcliffe is backed by J P Morgan and Goldman Sachs

Have a feeling this will go through-much to the relief of United fans -17 years of money syphoned out by the Glazer freaks has pissed them right off

I am only using one resource, but I am a little shocked at most people on Red Cafe want a middle east owner over Radcliffe. All those years of Moaning about Roman, Man City owners, and recently Newcastle, and now the true colors come out.

Yeah maybe they want the excessive spending that they envisage a Middle east consortium can give them -could backfire now though depending on what happens with Man City (probably nothing but a fine).

If Citeh walk with just a fine

I can see us going Europe Super League

as we are near tapped out (limit, not money to buy with) due to FFP, and will be blocked from some moves we need and want

and yet Citeh, who lied, cheated, perjured, etc, and get no real punishment and can just keep on doing what they wish to

Yes, can see the Premier League looking at this as a massive revenue raiser, they wont want to upset their middle east cash cows and billion pound TV revenue stream, and looking at how they can be a part of the $up£r L£agu£
