Stats wise, scoring in 7 games out of 12 is hardly a disaster as the commentators made out to be.

they had, besides the 5 goalless games, FOUR others where they only scored one goal (Watford, Burnley, Norwich, and Chels, so 3 shit teams)

if they had failed to score in just one of those

they would be rolling at a 50% goalless games clip

compare that to truly great runs in leagues by top teams, where they go 25, 30, 40 league games or more without failing to score

all comps look at the number of games

I'm pretty sure that was supposed to be a dig at Lukaku. The poster you quoted has already written him off apparently...

Ah well my bad.

jury is still out on Lukaku but tbfh i was in favour of agüero over Lukaku in summer as well

still we would have been in an even worse position now had we done this. Losing a striker in November and then having to buy from a weak position in Jan would have been a disaster

Well at least they’ll still have an amateur clown in charge against us to add to their injury/suspended list.

They surely can’t be as embarrassingly terrible against us as they have done, though. The players got what they wanted with Ole going so they’ll put in a shift now.

Probably. We've done it so many times after a sacking. Long as we play well..all should be good! Surprised its taken this long. Guess they were weighing things up or something

Multiple sources have confirmed to the Manchester Evening News tonight that United will sack Solskjaer and United are finalising the Norwegian's compensation package of around £7.75million.

I remember when Everton a couple of years ago (or maybe it was last season?) were on a horrible run and sacked their manager just before playing us. And then we got hammered by Duncan Ferguson the caretaker manager.

Let us hope Tuchel’s Chelsea is different.

I wasn't talking about the breakdown of the goals. I just meant games wise, scoring in 7 out of 12 games is not terrible.

On top of that, it's Arsenal and they can't be compared to those sides you mentioned there. They aren't WOW offensively and it's not that surprising that they have scored in just over half of their league games.

That was 2 seasons ago and it was at our bogey ground Goodison Park. We always find a way to lose there.

They must have had plans find it hard to believe they didnt. Just waiting for the opportunity to do so. Hardly been on a mixed run of results they've been crap..

They didn't have plans to sack Solskjaer before Watford.
