Must be a dream having the choice of playing Laporte with Dias out. Crazy depth when you consider Stone’s improvements as well this year. Nathan Ake as a squad player also (although he isnt anywhere near those 3 right now). Also Eric Garcia although hes leaving them in the summer. Some depth.

City is scary good. A retort club, the sheicks and cheque book manager guardiola are just a perfect match. Other than Liverpool i can see them dominate english football for ages.

Of course.....limitless supply of cash, a money manager in Pep, and you can even bribe your way out of FFP issues and punishment. Great matchup for any manager. We really need to step up again summer time, sick of city and their endless BS.

If it weren't for Leicester's 5-2 win at The Ethiad our defensive record would be in trouble!

No kidding right now but I have been thinking about our record today and it just struck me. It was a WALL.

Just 15 goals conceded in 38 games. BUT we conceded 4 goals in 2 games (Bolton and Arsenal) so that means we conceded just 11 goals in 36 games. Which means we kept a clean sheet in 25 games. That is an unbelievable stats.

Strangely I think it was the start of the following season our defense peaked. I remember a series of strikers came into our games on excellent form (Henry, Defoe, Darren Bent who had an unreal start at Charlton) and we made all of them look like pretty shit, even Henry.

Another thing is we did not really look boring. I mean, it was not like we were parking buses. We were entertaining up front as well. Everything basically clicked.

City missing their best player and only true striker and are still pissing the league and carving through everyone effortlessly.

Imagine if they sign Messi this summer. Or if that doesn’t happen Haaland. 😬
