Can't believe the scousers some saying they should get a trophy for coming second

To quote Bill Shankly. '"If you are first you are first. If you are second you are nothing."

Someone on the radio said they'd won it if it had been the old point system. Well it isn't so that's a stupid thing to say!

Yeah they should've could've won. Except City had more points and so vollia!!!

Plus what about man u that time with Arguero moment. Nor as many points wise but they were level at the end just goal diff.

Manchester United have apparently set up a call centre for fans who are troubled by their current form. The number is 0800 10 10 10. Calls charged at peak rate for overseas users. Once again the number is 0800 won nothing won nothing won nothing.

Liverpool allowed to carry their points over to next season

PREMIER League chiefs have agreed that as Liverpool did so well but still did not win they can carry their points over to the following season.

The club, which ended a period of sustained success 30 years ago, will begin next season with a 97-point head start over their rivals in the hope of making the league competitive.

A spokesman said: “Liverpool have tried ever so hard and their poor fans, whose bedrock belief that they are naturally superior to all other clubs has never wavered, really deserve this.

“We’ve asked City if they mind sharing the trophy but churlishly they’ve refused, like the brash, oil money brats they are, so instead we’re doing the right thing to ensure that Liverpool win next year.

“With almost a hundred point lead they’ll be able to still do things they enjoy, like losing to Crystal Palace, without it ruining everyone’s good time and allowing justice to be done.”

Liverpool fan Nathan Muir, who was raised in Wiltshire, said: “I began supporting Liverpool in 1985 because I thought it was guaranteed they would win everything. It’s not fair that they don’t.

“Other fans will make a fuss but really they know it’s right. Because we’re class.”

A one-year CL ban will be terrible, as it does not hurt City in anyway.
They'll just go on to win the league, FA Cup, LC (and EL if not banned) comfortably.
It has to be harsher than this surely.
I don't see Pep staying around if that's the case. If they are actually hit with a ban, I'm sure more will follow too.

They need to make a statement at some point.

What makes you think Pep will leave? He's playing in the best league in the world. And he'll return to the CL next season, it's not like it's for a long while.
There's plenty of talk either Juve or Barca wanting him, so this would be another reason to consider it.

As I previously said, this could potentially be the first of a wave of bans coming their way (https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11679/11649323/manchester-city-investigated-by-fa-over-jadon-sancho-agent-fee).

Why would he go to Juve? For what reason? And I don't see him returning to Barca. His days are done there.I was only talking about if City only have the 1 year CL ban.

 Why not?

There are plenty of reasons why Juve could be more appealing to him, and I'm sure Barca could get him if they really wanted too.

I was only talking about if City only have the 1 year CL ban.

Is my point not getting across?

If they are banned for this infringement, I expect more bans to come their way (FFP, signing underage players, etc). Things aren't rosy off the pitch.

Because he doesn’t want to be seen as a failure to not take City to a CL title.

The second club he failed to get it with.

He could be waiting multiple seasons to address that.
