Wayne Rooney

Coming from a guy whose team had one the best ever managers. That is strange, mate! For the past 2-3 seasons, you have had a pretty average squad but it was only because of your manager that you crossed the line as champions!

Of course having SAF helped a lot too, but ultimately it's always the team that makes the biggest impact. They have to go out there and perform, there is no getting away from that. That's all I meant. We still have that important ingredient regardless of manager.

Anyway.. drifting off-topic. This is probably for another thread.

So here's my view about this whole transfer saga-

We get Rooney, have a wonderful striker from a major rival club and may end up dominating the league.

We don't get him but still have a decent strike force and United will have a very fragile unsettled striker in their team.

End result of both possible outcomes- Moyes gets mindfucked throughout. LOL just gotta love Mourinho, using the Media as our 12th man.

If the result was to be same, he'll know best not to fork out 30million

He'll be at United next season. Which, in my opinion, would mark a significant psychological blow by Chelsea. Mourinho is trolling United so hard right now.

Let's not suck too much Mourinho dick. We need Rooney, that's why we're after him, not cause of this so called psychological blow. Rooney on Chelsea is like a 10 times bigger blow than any psychological blow to United.

I'm not so sure that you need him, but I agree with the rest. I'd prefer he went abroad, but he doesn't have the capability to learn another language quickly.

Why He Is So Quiet?!

Either of these solutions:

1. He doesn't really want to leave but doesn't exactly want to stay either, basically he is caught in 2 minds about his future

2. Maybe it is all happening behind the scene. Maybe MU told him to be quiet and he will be allowed to move after they found a replacement

3. His agent advices him to not rock the boat so MU will let him go eventually

4. It was a farce as many said, we don't even want him and just put a bid in public to unsettle him and MU so we didn't contact him

Paul Scholes tells Wayne Rooney to snub Chelsea and stay at Manchester United

''I don't think there's anywhere better than Manchester United to play your football.

''It's up to Wayne - but he's a top, top player and every player and fan wants him to stay.''

I'm not worried. Moyes wasn't my first choice preference admittedly, but I'm far from unhappy with him as manager. Of course it's a step down from what we had, but what wasn't?

A lot of non-untied fans are going after this for some reason. It's like they haven't noticed what Moyes has achieved with next to nothing at Everton.

Also take into account the vast amount of experience in our team. The team make the biggest impact in football, not the manager.

He did a good job at Everton but im not sure it was the miracle work a lot make out, Everton are usually around the 7th biggest spenders in the league and usually finish around 7th.

Roy Hodgson got Fulham from relegation to Europa league final and fucked up at Liverpool, Benitez wins titles with Valencia and never done it with Liverpool and plenty of other cases of good managers doing well at average clubs then fail at big clubs.

Doubt that they are usually the 7th biggest spenders in the league, last 4 seasons their net transfer spend has been in profit.

Not that I think he's performed some sort of a miracle at Everton, but he has done pretty well considering the budget. Don't think hell be able to deliver at Man Utd though.

Not quite sure about the Benitez statement. He won the CL in his first season with Liverpool
