chrismada9 1,948
Such a pity that David Luiz can't play in this game! But I reckon Ivanovic and Terry are just as good of a defensive pair I feel. Both are hugely determined players and are both excellent at tackling. Bosingwa is getting a lot better too I think! middleoftheshed 388
I take it Luiz can't play because he wasn't part of the team when we first played them at Goodison park?Yes.Our January new boys, Fernando Torres and David Luiz have a weekend off. Torres is cup-tied, having played in Liverpool's 0-1 defeat by Manchester United, but available in the Champions League — a competition the Scousers did not qualify for. David Luíz, arriving from Benfica, is also not available having been signed after the original tie. If we get through he can play vs Reading. Gianfranco_Z 202
Chelsea striker Fernando Torres is cup-tied while fellow new signing David Luiz is also ineligible for the FA Cup fourth-round replay on Saturday.Source
MetsajCFC 1,255
He won't play the replay against Everton because of FA rules (he wasn't on the squad on the first game) and thus he can only play in FA Cup if we get though and face Reading at home.
