Edinson Cavani

A great striker increases the popularity of the club tremendously. With Lukaku we'll be fine but Cavani would increase our fanbase thus our revenue in the long term.

We are already set up brilliantly for the long term which I sincerely salute our board and Roman for addressing ever so brilliantly. Mourinho has promised stability as well as Youth integration which has my balls hot.

To see homegrown talents of Chalobah and Kane into the first team would truly be spectacular.

Neymar, Hulk, Falcao and now Cavani. Napoli are the latest club using Chelsea to create a bidding war. In the end it will end in Cavani staying put or doing a "Falcao" chasing the money and not trophies. That 54 million can be invested in central midfield and defense, the real weak link.

What exactly is Neymar doing in this list?

It's not like anyone else is prepared to pay the release clause. We're only bidding against ourselves at this point. Makes no sense paying the release clause.

It's not really that much about the money. It's all about Napoli (and other clubs) trying to force us to overpay and somehow they believe we will do anything to get what we want and we'll be just sitting there like idiots letting them dictate the terms of the deal. If, in fact, we had sent an offer of £40-45 mil and they went on to reject it with the demand of the release clause, then all I have to say to them and their fans is keep your Matador, you can suck my El Niño.

ADL always says that the clause is 63M net for Naples, you idiot.

If you understand italian, listen for his interviews, otherwise trust in this links

http://forzaitalianfootball.com/2013/03/napoli-will-sell-edinson-cavani-but-only-for-e70-million/

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has revealed the club will sell Edinson Cavani but only if his €70 million buy out clause is met.

“The clause exists, though, and if someone is willing to pay €70m for him, which would mean a net fee of €63m for Napoli, we are ready to listen to the offer

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis says Edinson Cavani will be allowed to leave the Partenopei this summer - but only if a club matches his €70 million buy-out

"The clause exists, though, and if someone is willing to pay €70m for him, which would mean a net fee of €63m for Napoli, we are ready to listen to the offer.

Read this you ingorant fuck.

De Laurentiis: If someone makes me an offer of 63m euros, Cavani's release clause then fine he can go, otherwise, he stays in Italy with Napoli."

Now correct me if im wrong, but isnt 63 lower than 70?

How can a release clause be "£X net" you clown. A RELEASE CLAUSE IS A SET FIGURE IT TAKES NO OTHER FIGURES INTO ACCOUNT. IT IS A LEGALLY BINDING AGREEMENT.

De Laurentiis claimed that he had a meeting with Manchester City but the former Premier League champions’ bid was considerably short from Napoli’s demands.

“The only meeting I've had has been with Manchester City, but the offer was inadequate,” the president stated.

The chief stated that he does not need a face-off with Cavani and has admitted that Napoli will not sell the player less than the buy-out clause.

“There is no need to have a face to face with Cavani. If a club offers 63 million euros then we would allow him to leave. The release clause will have been activated

The player HIMSELF Cavani said: "I don't think I'm worth €63m. I will have to talk to De Laurentiis about it. I owe a lot to Napoli and I want to leave through the front door if I move on.

Now please, stop with your utter drivel

mmm

i can understand that your're upset when you discover that yourich russian boss is too poor for Cavani (i say 70M and I link you laurentiis's original italian words, you say 63M basedo on bad english traslation, but even second price is too much for you)

what i cannot understand is why you use this tone. I did not insulted anyone and documentented everything I saw.

so i will never talk about that in future, if you're really interested in Cavani you will discover the real price.

Now you can watch cavani destroying italy, think about his price and crave to have enough money for him

Chelsea has not enough money

Maybe Abramovich has, but cannot spend them because of FPF

so Chelsea does not has 70 (or even 63) Millions to spend for whatever player, you have to consider you have to pay in one time without any mortage

We can buy your first 11 if we want to. But if we pay this kind of money now every club would do to us what Napoli is doing, so you won't see those 70M.

I say if we really want him we just wait until Aug 10th when the clause becomes null and void and he can go for his true valuation and not an inflated cost of someone who thinks they can strongarm chelsea into paying more for a player than he is actually worth.. we did this twice before in terms of strikers I doubt that we will be doing this again
