Think Ramires has been found out a bit in the pivot. For all his energy and stamina, his first touch at times is woeful and he can't even pass a simple ball to someone who is about 5 yards away!

That's bollocks and massively unfair. He was probably our worst player other than Ivanovic and offered absolutely nothing. He has his place when we're counter-attacking against stronger teams and need to hit them on the break or work hard for 90 minutes, but when we've got plenty of possession and need something from midfield he can look a little bit lost.

Ramires was in the wars today, especially in the first half when Stoke were pressing forward. Think he made 5 tackles in the space of like 15 minutes! Great energy.

The sad thing is despite being my MOTM against Arsenal. He will be getting some flak for the teams 2nd half performance while Lampard gets off scot free despite he being one of the ones who went missing in that 2nd half.

Nah, not for me. Ramires showed both strings to his bow today. In the first half he was as creative as any of the 'Trinity', whilst he was defensively our best player in the second half. Full of endeavour and effort, kept Cazorla very, very quiet. His best game in ages.

Made up for his awful performance against Southampton. This is what i truly love about Rami, he isn't technically as gifted as other players in our squad who we have paid a substantial amount of monies for. In spite of that lacking in ability his sheer desire to win and take games by the scruff of the neck is priceless. Excellent game today and fully deserved MOTM as did A.Cole but Rami just pipped it.

Like i said after the Southampton game, he's not suited for every type of match. I would play him in every big game, or tough games away from home, but at home against teams that just defend all the time he should be resting on the bench.
