I do agree with some things you said but trying to use "team stats" against Cesc is just way too harsh, I have just made some top players sound rubbish using the same formula.

my point was simply that cesc as an individual simply destroys the balance of any and every team he plays in. be it arsenal, be it barca (4-3-3 to 3-4-4), or be it chelsea. and any team that cant find the balance will find it difficult to win trophies.

your examples are valid. but lets take some one like ballack. we were right up top with him. we were winning trophies and cups. in CL final. and we even played some of our best football with him in the team (09-10). cesc's whole career has been such that where ever he has gone, he has absolutely destroyed a team's balance.

What the fuck does this guy actually do? I hear people mention energy or is that just another word glossed up to mean runs fast and hard? I watched him last night and I haven't got the faintest clue what he does, what he offers or what his role in the team is. His passing, awareness and all round play is at a level I'd put with a Championship player at best. Jose spoke a few months back about 'His Ramires being back' which to me means 'One of my old mates' rather than one that offers anything positive to this team.

Although I agree that his passing is, and has always been, subpar, he plays in a very high tempo. Everything becomes more difficult, including passing, when you are always on the move and always running/sprinting into contested areas - getting bumped along the way.

In that regard we got exactly the player we bought - he has not changed his style over the years.

Now if he demands to be in the starting XI, then he needs to go. Rotation would be OK, but we don't really rotate at Chelsea.

I like the look of Tielemans,Diawara being talked also , Pogba of course is overpriced but we need a new world class cm who can run/change a game as cult heros Lamps/Essien did.

Ramires is unhappy and is moving to China. The deal is set to be complete this week. Juventus wanted Ramires last summer, but Mourinho blocked the move.

Ramires was perhaps the best player during 11/12 season. He was on fire. That Barcelona game was not only an isolated thing during that season. He alscored scored a goal in FA Cup against Liverpool, was easily the only decent player during AVB tenure, he assisted Drogba in first Barcelona game, and played really well during all UCL campaign. I remember that I really wished he was available for the UCL Final. 

He was also quiet decent during 11/12 season and even during 13/14 season, but since last season he became a waste. You can't even say he is a "useful" squad player.

Ramires leaving is great news as long as a promising youngster gets to replace his spot in the squad. 

He has deteriorated to the point that besides his energetic running, he offers nothing else in open play.

It wouldn't surprise me Chelsea loan him out ffs that's all we seem to do nowadays
