petre.ispirescu 4,928
That would have been Cesc's 15th assist for the season The Chels
Oscar 441
Chelsea should just try Hazard-Costa-oscarCesc-rambo-maticI think with the current team, this is the best team for chelsea.
BlueLion. 21,491
You think of the horrible chances we spurned yesterday - Dave's shot saved by Lloris, Salah's air shot, Ramires' woeful miss, Cesc hitting the post - we could have won 7-5. Popular Post! MrBlueGuy 1,552 Posted January 2, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted January 2, 2015 LOL people hating on him for that miss, I thought it was an incredibly difficult angle to get a shot away let alone scoring. He did well to guide it as well as he did. If anything, the game yesterday taught us how we needed him in big games like that. Against City, Liverpool, Everton he started and guess what? We were undefeated and should have won all 4 away from home too.He is an integral part of the team in the big matches no matter how you want to look at it, against lesser sides he is too limited and will hinder us, but against big teams where running and work rate is essential he is a necessity. Just look at Oscar and you can see why. Laugh1ngMan, stroey, DYC. and 3 others

Vybz Kartel 1,613
Either he plays as a right winger or Mikel plays in the big games to protect Cahill and Ivanovic since we are clearly losing a lot of points from that side

Especially Rambo, because that thigh injury never seemed to go away. We've seen that JM would pick him for certain matches but only if he's healthy. Hopefully he's back and can get some games under his belt for the second half of the campaign.
Cech's helmet 220
The guy can't even control a football and people want him to start?Willian does everything this guy does in terms of work rate and tackling. This guy out of the team made us play fluid football in midfield. Ramires cant even pass a football, he's limited. The likes of Tiote/Matic do what he does in terms of breaking up play in a more cleaner way and are actually decent footballers. Although, he always scores goals for some reason. The Skipper 20,609
By the way, for the Danny Rose goal - does anyone see Willian stop tracking Danny even though there was clearly no man on the right to cover him and Tottenham were on the break? For all his defensive prowess, it was pretty poor from Willian tbh. Had Hazard or Schuerrle done such they probably would've been ripped but it's been overlooked. iseah100 and MrBlueGuy

didierforever 7,349
from being one of the sure shot starters, he has gone to be someone who is playing as much as salah and schurrle.against big teams he is a MUST. his energy, workrate, consistent fouling (to disturb the tempo) is absolutely ESSENTIAL. he needs to be on the pitch when we are playing a big game and we need legs on the pitch. kellzfresh

Hybrid Angel 2,130
Ramires needs to start in big games. His energy is impeccable and although he is not very good with the ball, he is great at retaining possession, something we struggled with against Liverpool. For me, Ramires has always been a priceless player for us. He is not the flashiest, but he makes a big role in big games. Mikel can only offer interceptions, and today he failed at that with terrible positioning. In a game where we are struggling to win the midfield battle, a player of Ramires' capabilities is an absolute must. kellzfresh

Despiadado.Maleante 1,046
Why the fuck does he not start ahead of Mikel. A midfield trio of Matic, Rambo and Cesc is just perfect for big games.
