or maybe Sneijder could go to Liverpool as part of Alonso's move to Madrid.

Of course, I solumnly hope that doesn't happen, but it's a possibility

Possibly.

It all depends on who Madrid would rather get rid of, though. And I'd assume that would be Van der Vaart.

Real Madrid midfielder Wesley Sneijder would be interested in leaving the Bernabeu for a major European outfit, according to the player's agent.

The Dutch international has made 51 league appearances - netting 11 times - since joining the Madridistas in 2007.

However, following the expensive acquisitions of Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo from AC Milan and Manchester United respectively, reports suggest Real are open to offers for Dutch quintet Sneijder, Rafael van der Vaart, Arjen Robben, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and Ruud van Nistelrooy in order to help balance the books.

Sneijder himself - who has been capped 52 times by his country - has been linked with moves to Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan this summer.

And the player's representitive, Soren Lerby, has revealed the midfielder could be tempted by a move elsewhere if he believes his first-team opportunites could be under threat in 2009/10.

"The Galacticos have built a team which can compete in all the competitions, but you need good players to rotate," he said.

"So Wesley doesn't feel out of place because he wants to give everything for them.

"At the same time a big player needs to play regularly and that may not happen at the Bernabeu.

"If Wesley was to leave Spain he would only do it for one of the biggest clubs in Europe."

do the right thng Chelsea and buy him please.......
