Don't want to get you down, I love De Rossi too but if we fail to get him it's nothing. The guy hasn't been very good for years, there are better CDM in the market right now. Ofcourse I will love to have him but no worries if we don't

Really? For me, de Rossi is one of the very best CDMs in the world and the best one available right now.

Used to be. He is not the main man anymore on the defensive midfield. It's the American player Bradly that gets the game going from behind. De Rossi wasn't really in good form for the last season and a half.

Wayanama of Celtic is better.

PSG's CDM is better forgot his name.

There are players.

lol good old Michael Bradley. I doubt he is better than de Rossi. he is a rather mediocre player, saw him multiple times when he used to play for BM'gladbach in bundesliga.

Wanyama is a beast, but he has only played in Scotland.

Thiago Motta I don't know, but i am pretty sure PSG is no seller club.

I have not seen de Rossi play for Roma much, but I have seen him play for Italy and every time I see him, he puts in amazing effort, great tackles and precise passes. he played an amzing Euro 2012 both in central defense and defensive midfield. He might not have been the best player under that funny Roma coach with his crazy tactics but I can't believe he has been off form completely in the last 1.5 years. If so he maybe only needs a new challenge. He is 29, hardly old for a DM. Xabi Alonso reached his peak after he was 30, as did Makelele. Ballack played his best season for us when he was 32. I am pretty sure there is still much left in him

He had no major injury in his entire career, but lots of different minor injuries in this season. Surely this put him off shape, but our medical department has done a great job this season and I am sure they would keep him fit.

I think he's talking about Verrati, in the PSG part

Really? No so sure. Verrati is as weakass as it gets. He is no DM, rather a DLP. I do not really rate him... Does not change the point anyway, PSG are not a seller club...

I'd take him over Motta, might just be me! I know, wasn't disagreeing with that part

I like how when Mexico were on the counter attack, one defender was out of position and he legged it to get goal side of the forward.

It's called doing your job....Mikel could learn a lot, because once someone is past him he thinks his job is done.

mikel asking price is 18m GBP.......we can get de rossi for just as much and would be world class

I think that's a bit too big of an upgrade..

Replacing an average awkward Defensive Midfielder that isn't bright on the pitch with a World Class tactically aware beast of a player is a bit too much
