If you follow the Link to La Gazetta, it's just the old story from May 14 that we could be interested in him. There's been nothing new in this story since. The shedender just reposted it today to get some traffic to their site..

It's a reasonable price and his drop in form has not been close to as big as people on here makes it sound like, not being able to adjust to Zemans kamikaze tactics isn't really an indicator that he wouldn't be a very good solution for Chelseas midfield problems.

Think we got a few players who would be hilariously bad trying to play like this too.

It's Zemanlandia! He got fired in February for a reason haha, but it makes for highly entertaining games.

But yeah, Rossi played under that for most of the season and then a few months and then played under their assistant manager for the rest of it, I really would not judge anyone from Roma too much on this season especially players that has showed their class as consistently as Rossi before.

Btw, is he also a good long ball passer \ crosser ?

A very fine passer of the ball, not so sure about crosses, I mean it's not exactly like he often finds himself on the wing, he's certainly not a Ramires kind of midfielder that can also be used on the wing.

What De Rossi is famous for is his physical abilities and dynamism on the pitch. His technical abilities are good enough but were never world-class. He's a good passer, but that's not exactly what he's famous for.

Yea I know what he's famous for.

Just wanted to know if he's also a fine passer, or if he's a Ramires.

No. We can't play this man in midfield because he's not been on loan to Watford or Swansea. Without that valuable experience, he simply can't be trusted.

LOL!

De Rossi would be a good buy, specially if we manage to sell Mikel. Imagine De Rossi as a first option and Chalobah as his imediate substitute, pretty beast imo. Then, after a couple of years, we can incorporate Ake or RLC into the team and make Chalobah our main man.

I dont see a problem in doing so!

Remember when people were saying Pirlo would be too old?

It wasn't Pirlo's age in itself that made people skeptical (well that is the general consensus i got anyway) it was because at the time we were already full with experiences players in their early 30's especially in centre midfield (Lampard, Ballack, Deco), which is why we were were skeptical i think. Back then we needed a young player or 2 to even it out.

Now it's the opposite, we have a young talented squad and someone of De Rossi's experience is just what we need.

This would be good, need a bit of "cuntishness" about our squad, someone who's not going to allow the youngsters to get bullied around by the likes of Yaya Toure.

Plus it'd be funny as hell because of how much Citeh chased him in the past
