Didnt he played together with Grafite in WB?

But if we played Torres-Dzeko, wouldnt that be good too?

As you said Dzeko is playing good with another ST, while Torres needs constantly with someone to pass him, also he is good passer and unselfish. They could play together. But then we would play 4:4:2 or 4:3:1:2

Like this

Cech

Iva-Terry-Luiz-Cole

Ramires-Mikel-Marin

Mata

Torres-Dzeko

Torres and Dzeko are both unselfish players that like to assist so I can see it working out, definitely.

Real Madrid should be cosidered. José always has a target man and right now he doesn't.

Yep, thats the speculation at the moment. Apparently Mou has been wanting him for a while now. The spin with PSG is that Ancelotti was a fan of his when he was here with us.

If Dzeko goes theres a lot of potential suitors (PSG, Real, Juve, Bayern, Dortmund, Milan).

I think Dzeko having a bad season is overblown. He hasn't been in favor despite being better than Balo, and yet he still slots goals and sets up in the limited time he gets. Not to mention when he's not scoring he's still been apart of beautiful link up play and his technique on the ball has improved greatly to the point it's an extreme strength. The moves with his back to his defender to get past them are very Drogba like.

I think we'll be missing out on a great player if we don't inquire about him at the least.

He never wanted to join City, his preferred destination was Juventus but there were some visa problems or something which prevented the deal.

I'm pretty sure his preferred destination was AC Milan.

I never believe anything on the internt unless it is a video. Just because it has quotes does not mean he said anything similar to that or if he said anything at all. Anybody can throw " " in an article.

Noww e are getting quotes that he doesn't want to got to Italy.

That seems fabricated. Edin gave an interview in the Bosnian papers in which he said that he thought the EPL was the best league in the world and that he wanted to prove himself there.

AC Milan is his childhood favorite.

Take a look at this page, which shows average number of minutes per goal of all EPL teams:

http://www.imscouting.com/reports-generator3/?id=40&l=5304&p1=0&p2=500&p3=0&p4=10#rep

If you consider only those with 10 or more goals, Edin would be the fourth most efficient striker in the league, ahead of RVP.

And this is all with the sporadic minutes he is getting, imagine what would happen if he were given consistent playing time.

Dzeko would be a good buy. He would bring presence, physicality and Height to the team. Him and Torres would be the sensible choice to be our strikers. However Dzeko needs to play regularly to be great. This would mean Torres again on the bench. In all honesty ANY big name striker we buy will signal the end of Torres. So it's up to Roman whether he wants to trust Torres or move him on.

He's Man City's Kalou.

Dont ever compare Dzeko to Kalou.. FFS now people are going off the tracks.

The only reason he was disfavored by Mancini is because he had the balls to complain about being subbed off for no apparent reason. Mancini favors his Italian son Balotelli over him even though Dzeko has outplayed the Italian countless times.

For those that think Dzeko isn't a number one striker, that can change a game on his own, think again. He basically brought Wolfsburg their first Bundesliga title against fierce opposition from Bayern, Dortmund, Schalke, etc.
