Garnacho probably grouchy because he was probably expecting to start against Arsenal in the cup game, given the goals he scored in the first fixture. Moody player, and we knew that when getting him.

Either he bucks up or he goes the way of Jadon Sancho.

First half is entirely on him though. Piss poor selection. Should’ve taken Garnacho & Hato off same time Gittens came off.

Ok in all fairness, he does eventually but his decisions from minute 1 led to us being outplayed for 45 minutes by a team in the bottom half.

Cannot just rock up after the game and act like he isn’t due criticism after just getting past 18th placed West Ham.

Same issues reared there head as before with players & previous managers - lack the mentality to get up for these types of games from the get go. Group of players need to take responsibility but also needs stronger characters added to the group.

Easy said, then when our main team is injured because we can’t rest them against bottom 3 West Ham, that’s the problem, cucu is a must for most games, hato should be fine, garnacho was horrific, fofana is injury prone but again bads was horrific! If we played our strongest team and won 3-0 ppl would say we should have rested x y and z

Perhaps but then again, you cannot afford to let guys like Garnacho & Hato in particular play as badly for as long as they did today. Yes he subs them at HT but should’ve been ruthless and done a lot earlier to no complaints. And maybe if he had, we get going a bit sooner because that left side was an absolute joke between Badiashile, Hato & Garnacho. I don’t think I’ve seen such a bad attacking performance from an individual player since Ramires v Man City under Rafa, honestly abysmal.

Do agree he has to find time to rest them but West Ham is a derby match irregardless of their current standing. And notoriously, teams in the bottom half of the table are the sort of games we’ve really struggled with the past 3 + seasons or so due to going through the motions/underestimating the opposition/not being up for it from minute 1 etc etc. Again nothing changed.

There isn’t sufficient quality or experience where he can leave the likes of Cucurella out knowing his replacement will comfortably perform because they’ve proven himself as reliable. Or someone like Pedro Neto or Joao Pedro. Which screams big problems given they aren’t exactly top elite footballers. But we’ve got the overlords to blame for that.

Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior says Arsenal showed his side a lack of respect during the warm-up for the second leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final on Tuesday.

Rosenior was seen angrily shouting at those from the Gunners side to stay on their half of the pitch and not encroach on Chelsea's area as the teams prepared for the game at Emirates Stadium, with Arsenal winning 1-0 to secure a 4-2 aggregate victory.

"It wasn't the players," said Rosenior. "When you warm up, you have your half and the other team have their half.

"I've never asked my team or coaches to encroach on the opposition's territory. In that moment, I didn't think it was right where they were operating, they were affecting our warm up.

"I asked them, maybe not politely, to make sure they stay in their half. I'm not here to have mind games, it's just what I think is right and respectful. Hopefully, we respect that and other teams do too."

He added: "There are certain etiquettes in football.

"I don't have an issue with anyone at Arsenal Football Club. [Arsenal manager] Mikel [Arteta] is someone I've got so much respect for. It was just in that moment, I didn't think that respect was shown to my team."
